robertsreality (2460), Minnesota, USA Jun 21, 2004 This is a complete illustration of a ’college beer’....although if you’re my brother, you’re pick would be keystone...god save you.... BrockLanders (747), Panama City, Florida, USA Jun 18, 2004 This is my last review of the "macro garbage" which inundates us. Yes, I spent a great deal of my youth drinking crap like this, but that doesn’t mean I have to keep reliving those less than favorable moments. I guess there’s flavor, but it’s nothing to write home about. What I mean is it’s nothing that makes you want to savor it-----swirl it around and really enjoy the smell and taste. Hey, we’re not expecting chocolate, coffee, or caramel here....just something...anything. Feel free to cut and paste this to just about anything from Anheuser Busch, SAMiller, or any other like them. Yes, I know even those behemoths make a couple that are tolerable, but by and large they stink----on ice. Here’s my 2 cents. Spend the dime and patronize breweries like Stone, Dogfish Head, Victory, and Alesmith. These guys have it all in the proper perspective. Trust me on that one. Oh, back to the original subject-----the swill known as Icehouse. This is crap born of pure, unadulterated marketing/advertising....period. eboats (887), Omaha, Nebraska, USA Jun 17, 2004 I was on my way home from a paintball tournament. These were on sale at the gas station so I grabbed two 24 ounce cans. Not much flavor here. Slightly better than the other mass produced macros. presario (2955), Calgary, Alberta, Canada Jun 8, 2004 Checked into the Motel late and checked at the gas station for a new beer after a long drive. Dissapointing. Pale average look. Generic macro-taste with some poor hop finish. 785pro (10), California, USA Jun 8, 2004 Plank Road...hmmm Another garage beer ment for working on my jetski and buying on sale to give to annoying neighbors who stop me when I a mmowing the lawn and want to make small talk.... HopsformyHips (113), Memphis, Tennessee, USA Jun 4, 2004 Light everything. Yeasty and rice like in the flavor...I didn’t notice much in the way of hops actually...but I have been spoiled on Stone IPA and the like. I’ll pass on this. shrubber85 (2836), Wallhalben, Germany Jun 4, 2004 Updated: Mar 3, 2006Can - sour malt aroma. Golden yellow with big head. Light sour malt flavor. Miller Lite with an extra 0.5% alcohol JPDIPSO (4865), Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, USA Jun 3, 2004 Light yellow golden color with a quickly dissipated fizzy/foamy white head. Light green pepper, pale malt and grain aroma. Watery feel. Very dry as would be expected. Peppery feel on the tongue, mostly carbonation related. Light malt mid to late swallow. After the past couple brews this does not seem that bad.
