Icehouse, the first domestically brewed ice beer, allows ice to form during the brewing process creating a bold, hoppy beer with no watered-down taste.

haha, it’s icehouse, what is there to say? cool name, might have tasted better if I had it during a WINNING packers game. But for a college-drinking kind of beer it erves its purpose.

I let someone else drink this for me... it’s just bad... I remember being able to drink it in college but to do it now I need a funnel and tube... smells skunky tastes bad and leaves a worse taste in my mouth.

This is a perfect example of macro brewing at its worst. This beer has a skunky smell, with no head. It is see-through, with a nasty taste and finish. This is also a fine example of a "College Beer", because once you get a job you’ll never buy this stuff.

The "Icehouse" on the label makes me think of The Shining, and craziness and scaryness and scatman crothers. Bad stuff

This is a beer drinkers beer. Gets your drunk as hell. A 6 pack of tall boy icehouses really does it.

Fourth of eight in the eugene malt liqour experiment. This one is a bit lighter than some of the others, still a lighter gold color with a quick falling white head. This brew had a bit more of a fruity aroma, kinda apple like. The fruitiness of this brew also comes through in the taste as well with an alcohol bite in the finish. I’m not trying to suggest that this brew tastes like real fruit, just has a fruity hint to the funky chemical malt stuff.

So, what’s with the house on the bottle? Is that the Icehouse icehouse? Heh. Crappy and corny.

Thin, white head which reduces very quickly. Light carbonation. light aroma of hops, and a bit of biscuit. Color is a medium gold. Flavor is crisp and a little bitter. More biscuit and bread. Bit of hops. Finish is slightly dry. Could be worse.
