Cheap college beer. Easy enough to slug down if you want to get hammered, but otherwise it's American macro swill.

Foamy head, and a pretty nasty aroma that starts out being deceptively pleasant. This is a pretty typical pale lager, maybe a little sweeter than average. I can taste the corn, that is for sure. This beer conjures up images of the fluorescently lit 7-11 store off the highway in Virginia where I bought it. Somebody should start a campaign to get those stores to start selling some decent beverages. The iced tea that I got there was horrible. I would take Icehouse over Peak Gold iced tea anytime.

UPDATED: APR 20, 2009 Bottle. More complex malt characteristics then I thought there would be. Nothing great but better then some of the other domestics available. I’m glad to be done with this travel and get back to SD for great beer. The good thing is that it did not make me angry like I’ve seen many ass clowns get when drinking this in the coldest place in the world!

Hoppy beer with no watered-down taste? Please. I haven’t had this since college, and now I know why. Iced beers may produce ’smoother’ beers, but lack in taste and substance.

Clear champagne color with small bubbles and thin white head. Mildly grapey aroma , with similar components in taste and a biscuity finish. Not a bad bit of econoswill as they come. $0.50/12oz

24 oz can. Pours a clear yellow golden with a large frothy white head that lasts awhile. The aroma is a skunky corn malt. Thick on the palate with a metallic corn malt and metallic finish. Not much going on with this one.
