I’ll defend this one. Icehouse is probably the best of the domestic cheapies. It tastes decent; even if you don’t like it, you’ll be drunk fast enough that you won’t care.

It was an all-right beer before I learned what beer was supposed to taste like.

Man, I use to drink the F out of this beer in my early 20’s. The commercial description of this beer is classic. They allow ice to form during the brewing process and says it doesn’t have a water-downed taste. What is ice made of? Ha-ha.... I never thought if drinking it from a glass back in the day. So, I can’t tell you what it looks like. I can tell you that it is a smooth low balanced brew. I would pick this up if was up against some other lame miller/bud beers.

I’ve been drinking Korean beer for the last 5 months so my taste buds may be fooling me but this ain’t too bad. Clean aroma and pale yellow in colour. Moderate carbonation with very little head. Hint of sweetness. Not much hops to speak of. Good with cheap burgers or hot dogs. Cheers!

Poured from a can, a pale golden color with a tall white head. The nose was of sweet malt with plenty of corn adjunct coming through. Taste started with well rounded malts and a classic corn adjunct macro flavor. The finish was weak, scarce malts, little bitterness then a metalic taste on the tongue. Don’t bother
