Bottle: Still and with far too many LARGE floaties. Light raspberry and cranberry aromas twinned with a little banana yeast and cereals. Quite sweet with pale maltiness and touches of the fruit found in the aroma. Iím too scared of the loose yeast to be able to drink this anything other than highly tentatively. Itís really not worth the money or time this one. Might have to dump it.

Bottle conditioned, 500ml. Clouded gold no head. After a fruitless evening of beer searching, decided to open this one, which was a bit unfortunate. Some English brewers really should put more effort into their bottle conditioned beers, itís the fastest growing part of the market. This was close to being infected, thin with a sharp tart note and really pretty flat. Unfortunate.

Cask at GBBF 08. Gold, lasting white head. Some yeast/hop on aroma. Bit yeasty maybe. Little bit dull. Building hop sting on the finish. It’s a golden ale.
