Magic_dave6 (3536), London, England May 1, 2008 Cask at paisly beer fest. Alround rating: Yeasty pale malts, floural. Very yeasty and annoyingly so.
DruncanVeasey (1533), Burbage, Croatia May 23, 2008 Bottle. Closed my eyes and almost convinced myself I was drinking an American pale ale a couple of % stronger here. Orange amber pour swirling with bits and lacing slightly. Aroma pure hop mustiness, with appetising citrus hints. Gentle mandarin-like hops in the mouth, with soapy bitterness and cheesecakey biscuit afters. Living proof that English hops can be tangy, perfumey and delicately citrussy. Tasty, zesty, impressively hopped bitter. cgarvieuk (2160), Edinburgh, Scotland May 4, 2008 Cask at Paisley Beer Festival 2008 ... amber ... light fruity ... quite hoppy ...nothing special RichardGretton (2555), Leicestershire, Leicestershire, England Mar 20, 2007 Bottle. Amber beer with a nice fruity dry aroma. The flavour is watery and weakly toffee with a heavily bitter finish. Overall a weakish beer. leaparsons (3804), Leicester, Leicestershire, England Feb 16, 2007 Bottle. Golden with yeast floaties and a white foam. Aromas are lots of hops and lemon with pinapple. Minimal malts. Flavours are soft buttery malts soon followed by citrus and pine hops. Spicy, dry and bitter fruit on the finish. Pretty decent.
