One of the most tasteless beers ever, but on the bright side on a sunny and incredibly hot sardinian day a cold ichnusa can’t be beat! Nice carbonated refreshing palate with a light (very light) hop presence. It’s drinkin beer.

Blonde, big head, not bad for what it is. Med bodied pale lager with light clean malts and a touch of continental hop. Not great or anything but a balanced pale lager.

Pale golden colour. Medium carbonation. Malty base with light bitter finish. Refreshing but very boring.

Had this one in Sardinia, pours clear pale yellow with decent rising carbonation and a thin head. A classic light, grassy hop lager. Very pale yellow, soapy white head with a fair lacing. Straw and hay nose with some light lager malts, corn, and cardboard. Hoppiness is there, leading to a bitter finish, but like most Italian macro beers, it’s unbalanced and harsh. Watery body.

Ichnusa has the typical lager appearance - clear golden color with about two fingers of white head with medium retention. There is a very gentle malty and grainy aroma, but it is very faint. The taste is similarly light, slightly watery with sweet beginning and a weak hoppy finish. Only slight bitterness in the aftertaste. Drinkable? Yes. Enjoyable? Also. Special? Not really.

Bottle at restaurant. Pours a golden/pale very clear beer with a good white head. Smells grain, malts and hops. Tastes the same. Average carbo, thin body and a watery texture.

Pours in clear pale body with low white short-lasting foam, visible carbonation. Aroma is hay, cereal, light malty, no hoppy at all, corn. Taste is light sweet malty, little bit acidy, somehow fruity. Body is light, high carbonation, oily texture.

Bottled, 0.66l. Clear deep straw color with small frothy white head and lively carbonation in palate. Aroma is grainy, grassy, vegetably and dusty. Taste is light sweet malty and sour grassy with crisp and dry mouthfeel and light bitter finish. Light body, watery texture and lively carbonation in palate. Poor lager...
