| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Apr 27, 2008 Bottle: Pours a dark brown ebony color with a thin little head and a smidge of lacing. The nose is light and fruity with some cherry and subtle sour hints. Mild caramel and dough as well. The flavor is a little tart with a dry fruity flavor, balanced finish and a tangy overall experience. Not quite explosive enough or rich enough for my liking on the style, but it’s fun to get to try sour ales whenever they come into town. dchmela (1426), Orlando, Florida, USA

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 22, 2008 Cloudy brown color with a minimal tan head. Yeast and caramel aroma but mostly yeast. The sour is very faint and the flavor has a bit of wood floating on the back of the palate. Crisp, slightly carbonated palate as well. Not overly exciting and if you are looking for a sour bomb, look someplace else. Need a little more fruit and/or malt backbone.
