Dark red - large tight head. Sweet and sour aroma, hint of diacetyl. Taste is a lovely combination of flavours. First a soft slightly sharp mouth taste, then creamy maltiness, heading towards sour bread pudding. A slightly fruity soft malty finish. Excellent only-mildly-sour sour brown. omhper (12171), Stockholm, Sweden
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Mar 13, 2008 Bottled. Copper colour, small head. Light vinegary nose. Rather light bodied. Dry, despite some fruity malt sweetness, notes of oak, butter, tart lingonberry and cherry. Lightly citric and vinegary. Pretty good, but not as complex as the best Flemish browns IMO. rlgk (3377), Vårgårda, Sweden

Scents of rotten fruit, malt and vinegar. Flavors were all messed up here. Cranberries and some burnt wood. I tasted some grapes and bread to finish. I didn’t care for this beer.
