Sour aroma. Nice light brown/toffee color. Sweet malty caramel in start, some bitterness in the finish. Fresh and fruity. A bit sweet in the palate.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
A red beer with a fine beige head though fast disappering. The aroma is sweet with caramel notes. The flavor is sweet and slightly sour combined with notes of raisins and red currants.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
5,5% on the label. Yoghurt and caramel aroma. A good deal of milky sourness. Strong karnemelk (soured up milk with lactic bacteriae) flavor. Some cherry. Not too well balanced, but in fact a good example of a Flemish brown ale.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Appearance is brown with almost no head. Aroma is sour apples. Flavor is sour fruit mainly apples. It tastes fairly close to a cider. Palate was a little thin and tart. This is not very complex but I enjoyed it.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
A whispering sourness envelopes roasted nuts...Muddy cherries end up as dry cookies...Not the best example of the style but a nice introduction...

3.6 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Dark brown, reddish shine. Yellowish, creamy head. Lactic acid, vineous, oakwood, fruity. In the taste, a kind of artificial sweetness, amazing as the background is quite OK, with the right acids, woody-vineous, old wood-like flavours you expect from the style. Sweetness is cloying, and impares the refreshing possibilities. Medium-full. It loses all the points on the added sweetness. Shame.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Held to the light, this is one of the most terrific colored beers I have ever tried ... bright ruby literally sparkles. Typical lambic bacteria and yeast aroma with some perceptible malt. Very sour and acidic, but balanced by malt sweetness. Low hops. A refreshing and evervescent beer. I would probably rate higher if I liked lambics a lot.

Very sweet malty aroma, it tasted like they added heaps of sugar into this one, quite a yeasty character aswell i thought. It wasn’t a total loss, but it showed no elegance.
