3.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle: People have rated this low, but I don’t think it’s that bad. It is a bit acidic after an entire bottle, but some friends also had sips and really liked it. So, it’s not the Dutchess! Big deal! There is only one of those my friends.
Cloudy brown with a frothy head. Aromas of vinegar and wood. Dry, dry flavors of sweet, green apples and lots of tartness. It has a dry aftertaste of cotton.

3.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle 25 cl. Dark ruby, with very little head. The sour nose is promising, but it disappears soon. Medium body, very drinkable. A bit astringent.

Bottiglia 25 cl. Oud Bruin Buona nel complesso anche se manca di equilibrio nel retrogusto che non si riesce a identificare distintamente come le sue colleghe nel genere.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 13/20
From the 330 ml. bottle with a bottle cap stamped 15:20/1703-25APRIL17. The pour was darker than I anticipated coming in with a deep amber tone and ruby red hues in the light. The head was tremendous but I was serving it at about 50 degrees. Lots of sour ale aroma on the nose with modest pale malts, wood, cherry, butter, and molasses. The body is medium and slightly astringent. It lives up to its sour taste expectations with some cherry and spice and a slight lingering bitterness.

2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle at home. It pours deep ruby-brown, with a small beige head. The nose is faintly acidic, wood, red wine vinegar, tangy berry and light jamminess. The taste is tangy, wood, varnish, light vanilla, green apple, sweet red berry, vinous, caramel and some astringency, with a dry, earthy finish. Medium body and moderate, prickly carbonation. I prefer my oud bruins with some more sour tanginess.

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Brunröd grulig öl med ett beige skum. Doftar torkad frukt och lite trä. I smaken är det mycket bränt socker. Saknar nästan helt surheten jag väntat mig.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
In bottle. Pours a dark amber - brown colour with a fair beige head. Aroma of light pickled onion sourness with caramel, Ovaltine, oak and alcohol. Similar flavours and surprisingly bitter with mild carbonation and an oily mouth-feel. Quite dry and interesting.
