3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bronze-bodied with hop-pocked head. Nice Chinook sculpted resiny bitterness from the first breath. Sweet, resiny body, quite appealing. Bitter-sweet finish.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Draft pour at the brewery. Pours a clear copper color with a lasting foam head. Soft grains and light hops aroma. Flavor is initially hoppy. A bit toasty with more hops lingering in the finish. Had this many times in the past, and it remains solid. Nice IPA.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Appearance holds an orange honey color supporting a fair head leaving fair lace. Smell having a nice balance of sweet malt and citric hops. Taste has again has a nice balance with the sweetness of the malt and the piney, grapefruit of the hops. Mouthfeel is medium with good carbonation. One of the easier drinking refreshing IPAs.

2.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Had on draft at Roadhouse Grill on 09.06.14.
A: Citrus. Lemon and orange. The smell is not very strong, though.
A: See through amber body. It has a ring of bubbles with no head.
T: Lemon and orange are dominant. Flower and graham cracker are subtle.
P: Creamy and crisp. It seemed a little flat.
O: The flatness was probably the fault of the restaurant. Others reviews of the place said the same about the beer there. The beer had a nice malt backbone that wasn’t annoying along with citrusy hops.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Draught at The Beer Junction, Seattle
Hazy golden color with compact head. Ordinary IPA, the aroma is also lightly footy, the hopping is fairly resiny and fruity. But somehow unclean.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle, 22oz. An almost clear one, golden in color and with a white head. The aroma has some malts showing up, but it’s the piney, citrus peel like hops that runs the show. It’s quite bitter on the palate, full-bodied and dryish, with a nice carbonation level. Citrus peel, pine cones and a little malty touch in the flavor, lasting for a good while, where the bitterness level feels just right. A fine specimen, feeling a bit old, but sure nice and easy drinkable. 140531

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
09/14/2014 - From bottle in pils glass.
Golden orange with lasting white, billowy head. Grapefruit and citrus and pine hop aroma, hints of malt. Hop forward, some biscuit malt notes and a resinous linger. Bit of an odd bitter, dry, flavor on the back of the tongue.
Solid, well made west coast IPA. Very much to style but neither unique or exciting.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Hazy orange without much of a head means this isn’t really a looker. Hops are restrained, actually kind of welcome. This isn’t a pine bomb, instead you get smooth citrus and lots of fruit. Thick but refreshing mouthfeel. Totally adequate small town IPA.
