Pours gold into a tulip. White head with good retention recedes leaving trailing lacing. Caramel and bourbon aromas. Sharp with sweet oak and caramel upfront turning to a lasting woody bourbon burn finish.

Corked-and-caged bottle from Kappy’s in Falmouth. #3 in series. Pours out a deep golden-orange color with a big frothy white head. Aroma of apples and oak. Flavor is incredible. Lots of pear, apple and banana notes from the yeast. Oak is kept in check. Some pepper. Very easy drinking and enjoyable. Drinks almost like a well-made saison, but with a bit more body. Oak ageing adds a unique twist.
