COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Based on the classic Belgian style Tripel, our version balances the spiciness from our house yeast with a complex melange of banana, peach and pear notes. The light malt sweetness in the finish ensures you’ll go back for seconds, or perhaps thirds?!

750 ml bottle with a date of 1/22/13. Snifter shows a hazy amber gold with thin lasting head. Aroma is fruity yeast and dusty malts.

Flavor is lightly fruity with candidate sugar, apricots and a light spice toward the finish. Even after the cellaring I still pick up a slight alcohol note. Lighter body with chewy, yeasty texture. Big yeast presence. Overall no flaws yet pretty forgettable.

Bomber. Hazy gold with a foamy white head that lasts and laces. Aromas of peach, banana, spice, yeast and light mango. Flavor is citrusy peach upfront with spice and light yeast in the middle and finishes with a sweet malty/boozy notes. Medium to full bodied. Lingering spice. Boozy but with good flavor.

Sampled at brewery. Quite boozy. Floral, straw, big range of fruit (peach, banana, fig, and raisin), slightly musky. Nice representation of the style, which, alas, is not one of my favorites. But solid beer.

22oz Bottle pour in a goblet. Golden wheat color with a generous white fluffy head. Distinct Belgian abbey and trappiste aroma. Carbonation is more than expected for style but not overwhelming. Taste is classic abbey and does not linger. Clean palate and strong alcohol passes quickly. Delicious with spicy foods and a good complement to most ethnic recipes.

Sampled @ Mass Brewers Fest @ Julio’s Liquors. Poured orange/gold with a one finger whitehead. Sweet candied fruit aroma with a bit of funk. Flavor is sweet fruit with some spice, cloves and coriander, maybe. Moderate bodied with a good amount of carbonation.

VALIS (228) - Nashua, New Hampshire, USA - APR 2, 2013
Strong smell of spices, peach, must. Taste is wonderfully smooth while maintaining plenty of character and complexity. Gassy, crisp, with the faintest bit of sweetness. Quite good. Hard to believe something this nice could come from Everett. ;)

Pours hazy golden with a 2 finger white head. Aromas of slight citrus and fresh cut hay. Flavors are all well balanced. Finishes dry with a lot of carbonation. An excellent triple!!!
