Cask conditioned at The Anchor, Digbeth, Birmingham. Gold with slight white head. Thin and pretty watery, i think the person who was meant to add the hops became idle on the day as there was not much flavour to this at all.

Draught (Elm Tree, Cambridge)
Sweet mustard aroma. Gravy-like savoury taste - sage and onion stuffing. Flat. Past its prime from that clue, I’d say, but it’s only been on one day. Herbal finish. Taragon.

Gravicask at the Angel mini beer festival, Kelvedon. Hazy gold beer with a residual white head. Light semi dry palate. A little pale malt. Okay citrussy orange and lemon. Fresh. Finishes semi dry.

Hand pulled cask at Sportsman at Croxley near Watford. Gold with a thin white head. Subtle wheat sourness and little hop flavour. Bland.

Handpull @ The Pembury. Clear gold, head scarpered quickly. Nose of sweet grainy malt, slight fruit and grass. Taste is much the same with a touch of hop bitterness in the swallow. Quite dull and boring.

A Mes rate: gravicask at the Bricklayers Arms.
Copper coloured with no head. Extreme pukey malt aroma that is really not good at all. Wheaty malt flavour with some faint fruit and a good dry bitter finish. Shame about the aroma as the rest is decent enough.

Cask at Bricklayers Arms Yorskhire Festival, 27th February 2009. Sweet aroma, biscuity malt taste. Balanced but rather average.

Cask at Wellington Arms, Bedford. Gold. Hairy cardboardy malt aroma which later developed rather nice fruity notes, maybe baked apple sponge. Grainy malt taste with further cardboard and a brisk mid bitter finish. This beer grows on you after an uninspiring first impression. Try it again.

DruncanVeasey (6112) - NUNEATON, Blue Square Premier, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - OCT 26, 2008
Cask, The Crown, Nuneaton. Disquieting cat biscuit aroma with a bleachy back note of piney hop. Dirty gold heaped with froth, squashy flat palate. Bizarre, hop-driven and homebrewish. Disinfectant, mucky malt , honey-gone-wrong. Drinkable. If you’re determined.

Cask conditioned - handpump - Wig & Pen, Northampton. A blonde coloured beer with a white head. The aroma is slightly citrus, but the taste is more so. Some sharp lemony hops and decent bitterness. OK.
