Pours a vivid amber with sultry orange highlights and a decent sized khaki head. Nose involves some earthy hop notes, sweet grain, light rye spice, a hint of citrus, and some herbal and almost minty notes. Taste is fairly bitter with a touch of sweetness. Palate is creamy, rich and full, vibrant, with some toasted notes. Nice brew, mellow at first but as you let it warm up a bit more of the character comes out.
