An average lager with a slight malt character, I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone
2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20 PriorL (261) - BELGIUM - APR 18, 2013
33cl bottle, "Light Lager Beer". The crown of the bottle made me laugh (bottle opener not included).
Appearance: very clear blonde beer with good looking white head, rather stable.
Nose: a lot of grains noticeable, a little metallic already... some lemon, some malts, reminds me of a regular pilsner a lot.
Taste: a very weird taste, a lot of malts noticeable, some sweetness brought in to compensate the bitterness, some grass.
For me this was a less than average pilsner...
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 DruncanVeasey (6116) - NUNEATON, Blue Square Premier, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - APR 9, 2013
Bottle from Cov split with Octo and Keith, 24/0/13. Pale, fine-haloed gold. Fresh mown grass, lemon, honey on toast aroma. Creamy malt, hints of wine gum fruit; grass and herb. Decent lager with German, possibly kolsch-like leanings. Not going to slag it off just because it’s from
Ikea.
2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 Lore (426) - Budapest, HUNGARY - MAR 30, 2013
average pale lager with golden colour, moderate white head and lager aroma and taste with a bit malty predominance over hop; drinkable, but nothing special
2.4 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 BlackHaddock (2365) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - MAR 15, 2013
Green 330ml bottle: BBD of 15 Jun 2013: poured into a very tall and thin ’Harboe Beer’ vase shaped glass (I don’t own any Swedish beer glasses).
The flute showed off the beer nicely: good amber/golden body, bright and clear, on top a rich foaming head of pure white.
Odourless to be honest and almost tasteless too.
The brew is slightly malty and semi-sweet, but it offers nothing for my senses to get excited about. A bog standard, cheap tasting supermarket lager/pilsner: it didn’t upset me but it was boring.
Just an average lager and a bit of a disappointment all round: it looked like it might have some spunk, but sadly it didn’t.

Bottled 22/02/13. A golden lager with a tiny off-white head. A sweet lager. Some butetry notes. A thickish chewy texture for its style. Over sweet probably but not too bad.
1.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 3/20 MrHangover (1102) - Den Haag, NETHERLANDS - FEB 1, 2013
Bottle purchased at Ikea. Green bottle, golden pour with a bubbly white head. Skunked aroma. Flavor is quite sweet and has a flat mouthfeel. Not too good..
1 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20 GoufCustom (224) - HONG KONG - JAN 29, 2013
UPDATED: FEB 6, 2013
330ml bottle bought during a weekly sale at local IKEA store. Pale gold colour; Smallish head and white foam which disappears in less than 30 seconds; Minimal lacing and okay carbonation; Strong smell of malt and metal; Light body and watery palate, with taste of light malt and straw with metallic note. Light but evident hop bitterness with dry after taste. Fairly easily to mouth.
Comments: I don’t expect much really and I am correct. While its metallic taste is barely tolerable, the same cannot be said about its metal-laden smell, which is so repelling that I finished only half the stuff and the rest is drain pours. Stick with the furniture, not the beer.
