1 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20
UPDATED: FEB 6, 2013
330ml bottle bought during a weekly sale at local IKEA store. Pale gold colour; Smallish head and white foam which disappears in less than 30 seconds; Minimal lacing and okay carbonation; Strong smell of malt and metal; Light body and watery palate, with taste of light malt and straw with metallic note. Light but evident hop bitterness with dry after taste. Fairly easily to mouth.
Comments: I don’t expect much really and I am correct. While its metallic taste is barely tolerable, the same cannot be said about its metal-laden smell, which is so repelling that I finished only half the stuff and the rest is drain pours. Stick with the furniture, not the beer.

Bottiglia.

Bottle. A strong smell of grass and hay, some cookies. Later also light sour. The white foamy head has a normal size and duration, the body is dark yellow. A light malty taste, light dry and some cardboard. The body is light, quite creamy with a normal carbonation.

So, here I am drinking at Ikea. For the price, it's really not that bad. An average, slightly bitter lager beer.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
330ml bottle. Clear, orangey golden colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Slightly muggy, grainy and strawy aroma. Taste is initially dry, strawy, papery, later minimally sweet, grainy malty with a lemon dash. Doesn’t improve my daily grind.

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
Aroma of grainy malt and hops. Pours clear golden liquid with a foamy white head. Medium bitter taste with some sweetness and a bland, sweet malt flavour. Light body and a thin palate with a watery finish. Overall a pretty standard, monotone beer. Not bad, but nothing special.

Bue en bouteille de 25cl à la brasserie, couleur blonde, mousse peu présente et peu d’effervescence, une bière sur le malt et le grain blanc, buvable au mieux.
