330ml bottle bought during a weekly sale at local IKEA store. Pale gold colour; Smallish head and white foam which disappears in less than 30 seconds; Minimal lacing and okay carbonation; Strong smell of malt and metal; Light body and watery palate, with taste of light malt and straw with metallic note. Light but evident hop bitterness with dry after taste. Fairly easily to mouth.

Comments: I don’t expect much really and I am correct. While its metallic taste is barely tolerable, the same cannot be said about its metal-laden smell, which is so repelling that I finished only half the stuff and the rest is drain pours. Stick with the furniture, not the beer.

Bottled. 15cl sample. The aroma has grains and flowery hops. Clear, golden coloured beer with a mdium, white, rocky head. The taste is slightly bitter, grainy sweet and has flowery hops there. Actually, much better than expected.

Pours golden body with a white head. Malty grainy, rather dull and thin. Not for me.

Clear dark yellow, white foam head. Barley aroma and similar taste. Nothing special, just an ale. (Velp 201412)

Is this really Swedish beer? This beer is fresh and doesn’t look bad, but the taste is not deserving the term "taste". Usually made beer for chains are not all too bad - this is unfortunately not the case. Too bad.

Bottle. Clear golden color with very thin head. Some fruit notes in aroma. Taste is light sweet. Hops are hard to distinguish. Watery texture. Aftertaste is short. Tastes like southern beer. Good when cold. Expected worse.

330ml bottle from an IKEA in st. Petersburg. Clear medium yellow colour, small fizzy fully vanishing white head, no lacing. Light malty aroma of grain, hay and bisquit with light floral hops. Taste is initally light bittersweet and moderately acidic, turning into a lightly bitter finish with an astrigent feel. Light body, dry texture, lively carbonation. A fairly standard lager, hops were a bit more noticeable in the aroma than usual, possibly dut to the lightness of malts.

Golden coloured beer quite clear. Smells a bit weird. Really watery taste with some hint of sour.

Bottle from IKEA, Wednesbury. Golden beer with medium foam head. Aroma is tinned sweetcorn. Taste is pale malts, sweetcorn and some mild hop bittering. Not good.

Pale, weal golden and a veiled attempt at a head. Meagre hop, dank trudge of straw and just a proper steel macro lager nose. They nailed that bit in the taste as well. Like dank fo-sweet lager with a grainy bread bitterness I remember as a kid. Carbonation is carbonaty. Finishes thankfully brisk, terse chemically sweet linger. Bottle.... IKEA. IKEA. IKEA!
