3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Borresteijn (3651) - Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS - MAR 6, 2013
33cl Bottle, found it in my shoe around Sinterklaas. Murky golden amber colour, white head. Aroma of sweet wheat, green tea (like in green tea ice cream), sweet ginger. Flavour is medium sweet, fruity, banana, wheat, some dead yeast, sweet ginger without the pepper-like quality of fresh ginger, cardamon, light bitter yeasty finish. Light-bodied. OK.

33cl, new brew Anno 2012, with green tea and ginger, from Saveur Bière Lille, not complex brew, malty/spicy and slightly sweet, yet balanced, cloudy, good head, nothing special, yet original brew!

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 FatPhil (7498) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - JUL 14, 2012
330ml bottle (Silk, Tallinn) - shared by Marduk
Cloudy orange, large tight head. Sweet, full, cakey aroma. Slightly vegetal retronasals, tinned green beans and carrot. Full, smooth palate, very soft carbonation. I’m not getting the ginger anywhere. Not really getting the green tea either. It’s like the Iki Beer in a way, but much thicker. I wonder if they water it down to make the 4.5% version? I don’t remember anything like this quantity of sediment in the other one either, this is very cloudy. Pretty dull, but drinkable.
