This tastes very much like the Iki normal beer, with notes of grass, dough, citrus and spices in both the nose and the mouth. On top of that, there’s the obvious taste of ginger, that makes this feel more like a lemonade than a beer. Drinkable, refreshing.

UPDATED: DEC 7, 2015 Verfrissend pilsje met vleugje groene thee en gember (aroma). De smaken lijken toegevoegd en niet zozeer verweven in het geheel. Backlog from 2015/02/12.

Beer with green tea...surprisingly tasty. Goes down with ease and is best enjoyed on a friday night at home.

The beer has a amber color, and is quite clear. The beer first look very fizzling. The beer has a rough white head, which collapses quickly. A minimal foam drape remains. The smell is mild. There is a fresh sweet fruity aroma, a little bit like radler. There might be some ginger in the smell as well. It is not really beer like. There is also an alcohol smell. Not that special all. The taste has some bitterness. I also sense a hop taste. There is also some sweet citrus. It isn’t that great this beer, but it isn’t disgusting either. It doesn’t make me really warm.

33 cl. bottle at Kung Fu II Izakaya Bar, Copenhagen. Hazy, amber-golden colour with a medium sized, white head. Fruity aroma with ginger, herbal notes, pale malts and tea leafs. Taste is lightly sweet. Medium body with a creamy texture and an average carbonation. Finishes slightly dry with ginger and a herbal-spicy note. A good pairing with the sushi.
