3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
The Iki has a nice hazy yellow/amber body with an average, mostly diminishing white head, and even a decent amount of lacing. A hefeweizen type aroma with citrus, spices and perfume (and do I detect a whiff of honey?). Sweet taste, with a dominating refreshing flavour of citrus, and deep down some tea. The only bad thing about this brew is that the very fizzy carbonation makes the beer really foamy in your mouth.

1.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 4/20
Behind the appearance of a Japanese origin, this is actually a Belgian beer... made with green tea... original... that’s it.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pours a cloudy light yellow with a decent sized white head. Big bubbly head that recedes to a thin coat in a matter of seconds. Little lacing, almost non-existent. Looks like a typical Belgian Wit.
Spicy nose. Mostly peppery in the spice department. Little bit of green tea scent. And something a little on the foul side, not sure what it is - almost like a spoiled cream. A little malt in the nose. Musty wood.
Tastes like Arizona green tea watered down with a weak lager. Although it looks and tastes more like a bad wit instead of a lager.
Thin, acrid. Carbonation makes it a little bit acidic. Not impressive.
Easy to drink and the off-aromas and flavors don’t linger around too long. Quite bland if you don’t think about the slight offness.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
17-jan-2011, bottle at Utrecht based Japanese restaurant. In the restaurant I thought this was a real Japanese beer, but it appears to be brewed in Belgium... Hazy pale yellow beer with white head. Spicy aroma, with hints of citrus (reminded me of hefeweizen). Taste is pretty sweet, and perhaps a little unbalanced. I quite enjoyed it though.

Small white foamy head on top of a very light hazy yellow colored beer.
Smell hints of wheat, spices, hops, light fruity and citrussy.
Taste is a mix of herbs, malts, hops, wheat, bitter and a hint of something fruity.

2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Pours out yellow, light orange, cloudy. Medium head, should hold some longer, but sticks nice to the glass. Smell is spiced, citrus, hops. Something less pleasant at the smell, maybe the tea? Taste is citrus and spices, some wheat and hops. Not my thing, but I expected worse.

Bottle 33cl. Pours a pale cloudy brew with white foam. quite much yeast in this. Refreshing, watery, nothing special in this. Citric aftertaste. Mmmh, nothing more to say.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
First smell seems to indicate boiled patatoes, but this is probably the green tea. Colour is citrus/orange and cloudy. Taste of herbs (probably the green tea and the citrus). Overall this is a very light fresh beer that would probably be even better at a warm summer evening.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Light blonde, small white head. Aroma is slightly flowerish, like a witbier with lemon-aroma. Strange taste by the green tea, a bit sweet, drinks like a witbier. not that bad at all. Thirstquencher.
