Pours pale greenish yellow with a small white head. Aroma is citric, lots of ginger. A bit watery palate. Flavour is okay, pretty dry, nice spiciness, okay yeast and ginger.

Where the heck do these guys get off ripping off the Mikkeler Black bottle and logo? Mikeller should sue them!
Bottle (EBF2008)
Slightly wheaty fresh aroma. Refreshing, but odd fruity spicy taste. Lovely simple grainy finish. Watery in places. OK in summer for some, I’m sure.

Cloudy, yellowish green color, small white head. Sweet, malty, sugary green tea, citrus scent. A bit sweet, caramel taste; almond paste aftertaste. Moussy mouthfeel, low bitterness.

Bottle from Centra, Oslo. Well, I really don’t know about this one. Soft wheat beer mixed with green tea and some spices thrown in for good measure. The Japanese answer to Radler? It tastes OK, but I don’t think it works as a beer.

larsga (6120) - Oslo, NORWAY - SEP 7, 2008
Big shiny very white head. Hazy yellow body with light carbonation. Neutral fruity wheat aroma with herbal notes. Sweetish wheaty indeterminate fruit taste with citric herbal notes and some toffee. Light, clean, chalky mouthfeel. Long dryish mlky herbal afterttaste. A bit different, and not so bad. (0.33l bottle, Centra, Oslo.)

330 ml bottle. Moderate white head. Color is hazy yellow with a milky-white shade. Aroma of anise, sweet banana and acidulous fruits. Taste is grainy, quite sourish with a lemony touch. Notes of perfume and spices. Mid-bodied. Soapy mouthfeel. Light bitter, sourish fruity and spicy ending. Stange brew.

Gr0ve (2127) - Oslo, NORWAY - SEP 5, 2008
330 ml bottle. Hazy whiteish yellow colour. Very tall fine-laced white head that clings to the glass. Spicy and soapy prickling aroma. Typical Belgian yeast aroma. Most of the carbonation must have left the beer when being poured as it mouthfeel is rather flat. Medium bodied. Wheaty flavours with a hint of something citrusy. Slightly bitter in the finish, but not from hops.
