Iki is japanese for life and let you enjoy it. iki beer is a nice, fresh and thirst quenching beer. Brewed with Japanese green tea (Sencha) and Yuzu citrus fruit. The special brew method keeps the healthy aspects of this beer maintained.

Süßer, deutlich kräuterartiger Antrunk, leider sehr wässrig. Trocken, wässriger werdend, etwas herb. Zum Ende langweilig leer wirkend, nicht aromatisch. 11/4/5/3/5/4

looks surprisingly nice. yellow slightly hazy liquid with a thin foam. lagerish scent with citrus and citrusy fruit. a bit stingy. taste makes up for the non-balanced aroma. surprisingly pleasant to drink, quite smooth. palate works well with the taste. overall, a good lagerish beer but nothing special.

Mi piace per curiosità ovviamente assaggiare un pò di tutto, e questa è una delle cose più diverse che mi siano capitate. ma certo diversità non significa qualità...

Uncleargolden colour with a green shade to it. Big white foam Aroma of fresh peas, asparagus and a hint of citrus. Flavour is also very vegetable, with asparagus as the main component. A touch of lemon in the aftertaste. It got a good carbonation, medium body that´s alittle on the sweet side. Summary: An interesting beer, with a special taste. Superb with a green salad!

With some Sushi at a Japanese restaurant in Amsterdam. Very hazy gold beer, tidy white head. Light dry palate. Dry pale malt with just hint of green tea. Similarly just a hint of citrus in the dry finish. Goes well with food but why so apologetic with the flavour? Turn up the Green Tea and Yuzu. Maybe we could have Imperial Iki?

The Iki has a nice hazy yellow/amber body with an average, mostly diminishing white head, and even a decent amount of lacing. A hefeweizen type aroma with citrus, spices and perfume (and do I detect a whiff of honey?). Sweet taste, with a dominating refreshing flavour of citrus, and deep down some tea. The only bad thing about this brew is that the very fizzy carbonation makes the beer really foamy in your mouth.

Behind the appearance of a Japanese origin, this is actually a Belgian beer... made with green tea... original... that’s it.
