0,33l botle . Pours pale yellow murky cloudy with white thick head. Aromas citrus, wheat, fruits. Palate is medium full-bodied watery with smooth slick medium carbonation, texture mouthful. Taste has witbier kind of middle taste with wheat-like yeasty structure and bitter acidic finish in mouth. Green tea bitterness is somewhat distinct in the finish. Quite interesting and refreshing style, there’s definitely some similarities with Belgian witbiers (see brewed by...), but the taste is more sweet in the finish. Green tea and yuzu flavours are nominal. Could drink this again.

smells a bit sour and herby, looks like apple juice, slightly bitter tea flavour and mild carb, alright.

Apart biertje. In het aroma is al duidelijk the te herkennen, evenals iets fris. Dit doet denken aan citroenijsthee. De smaak is wat vlak; thee overheerst t.o.v. hop en mout. Toch is het duidelijk bier.

330ml bottle from Wagamama, Harrogate. Served chilled. Hazy yellow amber colour, shortlived white foam head and aroma of malt, grain, citrusy, green tea, ginger. Taste is malt, grain, biscuit, notes of ginger, yuzu citrus and green tea, with light bitterness. Thin mouthfeel, light bodied, medium to high carbonation, tangy grainy finish. OK

In many ways it resembles a Witbier with its hazy and very bright golden color. Foaming is mellow, coarse, white and reasonably persistent. Has pleasant aroma of slightly sour fruit (which is deemed to be Yuzu). Yuzu is also called the Japanese lemon and is a natural cross between a lemon and a mandarin. I do not know the fruit, but it may well be the one I can smell when now the mention of the brewery says it has been used. The brewery also indicates that green tea is used to give Iki Beer its plump body. In the taste, I find no full body, so the green tea help only to a medium body and a watery aftertaste without hop bitterness. It is a very good thirst quencher, but nothing more. Is what I would call a fashion-beer.

Pale yellow, cloudy with thin white head. Lemony, a little malt but fairly neutral aroma. Taste is malt, slightly sour but pretty sedate. Nothing too special but going down easily

Yuzu and green tea flavoured organic beer from Japan. Creamy, stable, egg-white, dense head over a cloudy peach blonde beer. Aroma is a bit lightstruck but this fades away quickly, after which impressions of corn, orange peel (which I suppose represents the yuzu), indeed some green tea, grape, peach, soap and grass appear. Fruity, crisp onset, soft carbo, hints of peach, orange and some bubblegum, cornish slickness, resiny green tea effect but more in terms of mouthfeel than in terms of actual taste, soft bready malt sweetishness, light body, finishing with a very light, earthy bitterness and lingering, almost sugary sweetness, but fortunately not cloying; the green tea appears retronasally. Not my taste, more of a gimmick than a serious beer.

Pours cloudy yellow without any head. Smell of grass, some citrus and tastes like a weak pilsner.
