On tap at the Pizzeria in Albquerque, labeled as "Rob’s Amber". Pours a clear brown-orange with a thick white head. Aroma of sweet fruits, dark and bready malts. Flavor of sweet malt, some bitter hops and grassy hops, bready malt. Sweet and malty but a good amber. 7/4/8/4/14 [3.7/5]

Draft at the Santa Fe location. Pours an off white head, with attractive lacing, over a clear amber (SRM 10) body.....nose has slight malts and mild hop spice, and a bit of florality....taste is mild to moderate malt sweetness, with very light honey tones then mild hop bitterness followed by roasted malt bitterness....mouth feel is medium, carbonation low. The taste was surprisingly varied given the mild nose.

UPDATED: JAN 6, 2008 On tap at the Clayton MO restaurant. Il Vicino was one of my first good brewing experiences, and where my wife and I had our first date, so maybe I’m biased, but this is yet another AWESOME beer. Nice red-amber with a thin creamy head. This has a yummy crisp citric tone on a solid malt base. Light grape, apple, grass. Excellent.

tap at albuquerque location-pours a nice copper appearance with nice white head. aroma is floral c-note hops. kinda tastes like a less piney SNCA. some toasty/caramel malts along with the c-notes. pretty good palate for an amber.

Red-amber body. Nice hoppy aroma that actually leads in this amber. Decent crystal malt underbelly. Considerable hop flavor and bitterness. Nice full malty body like an amber should have. Very stylish and pleasing.
