3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
No head at all accompany this jolly golden. Fairly hoppy (flowers) nose is hugely bready and cerealic, but also mildly husky. Apricot, banana and apple character can’t hide the Belgian pretensions, but the exaggerated doughyness ensure that it remains pretence. Big-bubbled carbonation, more sweet than dry, medium body. More than decent.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Clear, pale straw with mild carbonation and a small white head. Strong clove-like aroma and flavor with a note of banana and some herbal spice. Dry and tart with some modest bitterness. Body is too flat and the aromatics seem overly concentrated in the flavor as a result.
