This was better than I expected. Nice orange slight hazey pour. With a nose of mild floral and bread. Taste was a nice hop blended with caramel malts and citrus. Good brew.
3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 rgfellow (78) - - MAR 1, 2013
Draft at brewery. Pours a pale gold with minimal, white head. Aroma is understated citrus and pine. Taste is pleasantly bitter. Easy, bitter finish. A session-able IPA - kudos to a home state brewery.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 NachlamSie (2345) - Tennessee, USA - JAN 20, 2013
10 oz. pour at the brewery. Pours a copper color. The aroma is fairly dank with strong malts. There’s a bit of pineapple and herbal bite with a leafy quality. The hops don’t quite come through as much as I’d like. The full bodied malts suppress what could potentially be some serious hop action. This is more of a balanced ale.

Pour out of 12 oz bottle, dark orange-red with thin white head, aroma brought notes of old hops, grapefruit, orange, some caramel, toffee, rich earth in there, slight grass, slight berry as well. Taste is a mix of sweet caramel, toffee, earth, hints of old hops, slight orange and berry notes, hints of earth, finishing fairly sweet, slightly bitter. Wish I could have tried this fresh!
3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 smaynard6000 (387) - Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA - MAY 18, 2012
On tap at brewery canteen. Clear amber collor with a small creamy white head. Excellent lacing throughout the pint. Aroma is simply pure hops and citrusy. Medium bodied with sticky mouthfeel, soft carbonation and intense bitter finish. Flavor is just pure hops, long in duration and just heavily bitter and citrus on the tongue. Good.

Golden-amber in color with a white head. Nice citrus-hop aroma and taste; light bodied.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Miksu (4537) - Jyväskylä, FINLAND - JAN 15, 2012
Cask at GBBF 2011. Copper color. Pungent juicy hop aroma with grapefruit and pine. Dryish bitter flavor with lots of lemony, piney and grapefruity hops. There are some soapy notes too which I’n not so fond of.
4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 Oakes (10935) - Savusavu, FIJI ISLANDS - OCT 29, 2011
Draught, Santa Fe location. Amber with a slight haze and thin head. Big, assertive hop aroma - woody with grapefruity accents. Pithy bitterness with nice and very subtle brown sugar sweetness. Rich, earthy and again slightly grapefruity in character. Very good, balanced, easy-drinking IPA.

Draft at brewpub. Nice floral notes on the nose. Pours orange with a finger of white foam. Beautiful hop flavor on the tongue without a lot of bitterness. It’s a very drinkable beer.
3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Beershine (5173) - The Sunshine State, Florida, USA - OCT 10, 2011
UPDATED: DEC 11, 2011 @ ABQ brewfest. Hazed out dull copper. Fuzzy fir aromas and cannabis. Healthy hops. As soon as the fruity hops cut through to the palate, the flavors unfortunately fizzle. Very nice brew but not yet special...Draft @ the brewery canteen is dark copper 4 the aroma is really bright and foresty with cannabis and huge juicy malts, 8 juicy palate with lingering hop oils 3 medium body is on the thin side which is nice bc not so many malt sugars but has great flavors match the aromas except the lingering finish is super grassy good and dry. Solid IPA; rating updated
