Strong kvass produced from natural ingredients, fermented, lightly carbonated non-alcoholic drink with lightly sour taste and aroma of rye bread. Strong Kvass does not contain food colourings, artificial flavourings and sweeteners! Kvass is brewed from barley malt and fermented rye malt according to the brewing technology developed at Ilgezeem brewery. The drink is especially suited for preparing cold vegetable soup Okroshka. It is recommended to cool the product to +15°C before serving. It is good for quenching thirst in hot weather.

Clear deep ruby with thin off white head. Minimal lacing. Aroma.. malty sugar, bread, not much of it. Sweetish and quite sour. That sour makes difference from ilgezeem Porteris. Not in good meaning thou

Pours copper reddish with creamy small cap. Aroma of semisweet, sour malt, rye malt mostly - like rye bread. Taste is sweetish-sour, think cause of ascorbic acid, sugary aftertaste. Flavor overall is too sour to me but could be refreshing drink during hot time. Middle body, slick-watery mouthfeel.

1L bottle (Ilgezeem Market Stall, Riga)
Rich aroma, sweet and rye malty, but also mushroomy. Sour bite to the palate. Sweet, but fazzy carbonation too. Dark. Simple rye malty body, a touch sugary. Blurring the line between fizzy pop and traditional kvass. Lemony and buttery retronasals, some raisins, a little yeasty. Good refreshing kvass, even when relatively warm.
