This traditional dark mild won the bronze medal at the SIBA Northern region beer competition 2010 as well as being voted the winner in its class at Bradford beer festival 2010. The blend of 5 malts used in the mash give a smooth, mellow easy to drink malt flavour with a hint of liquorices in the finish.

Cask conditioned at Merton Summer Beer Fest ’10. Very dark brown with cream head. For an ABV of 3.7% this packs a flavoursome punch, finally I found my nutty roasted chestnut flavour, in fact nutty can be used throughout the flavour profile. Then dry and slightly bittering, which is how I like my milds these days. A very decent Mild.
