3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Cask at the Sheffield Tap. Clear yellow pour with a thin frothy head. A most unusual fresh hoppy aroma with a lovely grassy floral hoppy, slightly bitter taste. A very different and very tasty beer that’s worth tracking down and worthy of a high rating. Needs to be served warmer to fully appreciate the complex flavours.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
[cask at Mr.Foley’s, Leeds] Slightly hazy orangey/gold with a decent white head. Sharp, bitter hop nose – distinctive fresh hop aroma. Oily and quite thick on the palate. Very fruity on the taste, before the almost biting hop finish. Touch of sour at the end? Fruity - but not grapefruit – there’s a spicy, acetic quality which must come from the hops not being dried. Good bitter punch at the end
