Bottle shared by Huhzubendah: pours a clear deep golden with a spotty lacing white head. Has a lightly sweet pale malty nose with some herbal hoppy notes and a touch of citrus. Starts with pretty good fullness and light malty sweetness with a clean hoppy bitterness and light pine resin before a drier bittersweet finish. Smooth and drinkable.

500mL thanks to huhzubendah. Clear light orange pour. Weak foam. Nose is sticky orange, grapefruit, decent American style hops. Taste is quite nice, not too sticky, some orange juice. Refreshing. Actually, quite impressive. Great palate- light, quenching, mild pine and grapefruit bitterness.

Aroma: Sweet caramel and candied sugar. Citrus hints.

Appearance: Clear golden body with a medium white head that holds well. No visible carbonation. Thick lacing marks.

Taste: Nice leafy hops. Caramel, peach and soft citrus. Sweet malt character balanced by hoppy bitterness.

Palate: Medium body with a very oily texture. Flat carbonation.

Overall: A sweet, light IPA. Really well balanced and moreish.

Cask conditioned handpump North Bar Leeds 15/04/13. A golden beer with a tight white head and lace. Good hops but a diughy sweet maltiness which becomes cloying for me. Lots of bitter oranges. A good body and the hops are OK but the doughiness doesn’t sit right.

UPDATED: MAR 27, 2013 500ml bottle - Orange amber body, clear, thin white head. Nose of passion fruit, tropical fruit, some grapefruit and sweet malts. Taste is bitter tropical, pineapple, peaches with a sweetness that carries through. Medium body. with the citrus tang adding to a lingering metallic finish. Very nice IPA, if a little sweet.

On cask at Tap East, Stratford, 13/3/13. Clear, light gold. Bit of head round rim, disappearing. Flat. Aroma - Fairly weak. Dry, grassy hop oil, bit of florally citrus. Clean. Taste - Light bitter. Decent, lightly tangy, spicy hop, with bit of light, dry citrus aroma-flavour, spicy alpha-acid bitterness and clean, light pale malt. Slight spicy, light bitter aftertaste. Light body. A decent light IPA, with refreshing bitterness & decent hop. Easy drinking, but a tad light on flavour for 5.6%.
