500 ml bottle.
Pours a copper colour with a white foamy head. Aroma of sweet malts, strong herbs, caramel and mango. Flavour of rich sweet maltiness, strong herbal hops, grass, tangy citrus and some piney wooden notes. Medium bodied, dry mouthfeel and soft carbonation. Finishes dry, lingering bitter, citrusy finish. Nice.

2.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Super bright light coppery colour. malty caramely aroma, toffee. Very soft on the palate, then resin pine. Good body but nothing special here - these American hops start to feel like a fad. A good beer, but average.

500 ml bottle, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 5.6%. Hops are Cascade and Summit. Golden colour, large to moderate white head. Strong aroma of grassy hops, a hint of apricots. Moderate carbonation in the glass, smooth mouthfeel. The flavour is not too sweet, and distinctly hoppy throughout. Some toffee first, followed by a distinct grapefruity and resinous bitterness. The finish and aftertaste are very bitter. A decent IPA.

Cask. Pours amber in color with a small bubbly whitish head. Butterscotch and notes of mild hay and garden berries. Smooth. Very light bitterness in taste, some sweeter butterscotch notes too. An English version indeed. Quite grassy bitter in the finish though.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Cask at Beacons Festival, Skipton. Like Mary Jane before it, this had no carbonation to speak of - again it seems due to the festival environment - and a bit too warm. I got some mango, pine & lemon with some floral elements but not enough hops coming through. Will need a cold bottle for me to appreciate this more.
