Cask @ Smowgoose, Inverness.
Orange amber, clear, thin white head.
Aroma of passion fruit, tropical fruit, some grapefruit, sweet golden malts.
Taste of sweet malts...tropical fruit...pineapple...with a light bitter hop layer underneath....malts bit cloying though...slightly buttery.
Palate - soft carb, sweet malts with citrus tang..medium body..sherberty mouthfeel. The finish has a rather bitter slightly metallic lingering overhang.
Overall - A good IPA, but has the potential to be very good if it’s tweaked to improve the finish.
