Cask at the Free Press, Cambridge. Golden and clear with a soapy/filmy white head. Lemon, hay and butterscotch in the aroma, with the forthrightness of papaya in the background. Sweet and first and bitter at the finish... very nice but there’s no escaping a slight soapy bit in the middle. Workaday and not all that impressive.

[7740-20150926] Cask. Mild toasted grains aroma. Clear, pale orange yellow body with a medium-lasting creamy white head and some ring lacing. Toasted grains and light floral fruit flavour. Medium body. Good, very easy to drink. (6/4/6/4/13) 3.3

Overheard: "Looks like we’ve been taken over by lesbians." Some guy, annoyed that two women were ahead of him in the queue.

2015-09-26. Crisp dark yellow body with a modest white head. 3+ Aroma is pleasantly fruity, bit of gooseberry like fruit with a bit of yeast and muted pale malt. Flavour is similar, lightly fruity, sort of gooseberry like, muted grassy pale malt. Smooth average bodied palate, soft to low carbonation. 3+ On cask at The Grove Inn, Leeds.

Not a strong beer alcohol wise but I got a lot from this beer. Pale and bitter. 4 for £6 at Morrisons Blaydon, a great deal. I drank a couple in store at their cafe then get told by the manager to drink the other 2 at home. Fairs fair. You could do a lot worse than a glass of this. Bottoms up

Cask at the Railway Tavern, golden with a thick fine white foam and fresh citrus and peppery fruit aromas. Dry-bitter with citrus notes, over a light biscuit and tropical fruit body. Long grapefruit-bitter finish with a faint hint of passionfruit. Excellent.

Bottled. 25cl sample. The aroma has grain, bit honey, floral hops. Clear, golden-copper coloured beer with a medium, white head. The taste is light bitter, bit sweet, has floral and citric tones and is quite grainy.Light and easy drinking beer. Well brewed, but didn’t really enjoy the grainy part. Reminds me of cheap lagers.
