(Cask at Cask Pub & Kitchen, Pimlico, London, 26 Apr 2013) Golden yellow colour with foamy, white head. Fruity nose with notes of citrus, grass, a touch of resin and biscuits. Fruity, hoppy taste with citrus, grass, grapefruit, hints of resin and a certain citric bitterness in the finish. Rather light body, quite dry. Tasty and highly drinkable. Nice one.

Bottled. Straw coloured with a thin white head. Hops and lemon on the nose. A dry start with hops and pine, then a sweeter citrus middle, followed by a dry, clean finish. A decent summer or session ale.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Martinus (1791) - Nijmegen, NETHERLANDS - JAN 16, 2013
Pale light golden colour, diminishing white head. Floral hoppy aroma, citrus, malts, biscuit, light grass, summer field. Malty sweet, quite bitter flavour. Medium body, quite nice for the ABV. Malty finish, citrus, floral hops, some lingering bitterness.
Nice!

Cask at Waggon and Horses, Halesowen. Gold with pretty lacing. Solid, unspectacular, proficient etc. clicky gold hops, with honey and cereal. Pretty tasty. Easy to drink.

Handful at The Ship (Monument). Very bright slightly light clear gold with a solid creamy/foamy lasting white head. Aroma is vaguely grassy, white wine, a hint of sultanas. Taste - golden ale grassy/grainy backbone, some weird very tart green fruit overlay - rhubarb? - not much alcohol. Slick, average body and carbonation, finishes quick leaving just a vague green fruit sourness behind. Interesting.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 AshtonMcCobb (1453) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - AUG 21, 2012
On tap @ the Haymarket, Edinburgh. Pours golden with a nice head. The nose has meadowsweet and lemon. The lemon takes over the taste somewhat and there’s a pale malt backbone. The palate is medium bodied with a tangy texture in the middle section and a clean finish. Overall, a solid ale.
