Bottle. Golden beer with a strongish head. The aroma is lightly hopped and the flavour is very well hopped with a large amount of bitterness. Overall a really nice well hopped beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

500ml bottle - pale gold with a thin white head. A small amount of carbonation helps the citrus kick along, although is a little thin on the body. A nice summer beer.

50 cl bottle, Sheffield, UK. Pale gold, slight haze. Citrus aroma, lime, with a faint pepperiness. Quite carbonated, some bread and honey sweetness, finishes spicy with faint resin.

Cask in the Windsor Castle W8. Very pale golden bitter. Classic dry Pennine interpretation of an English blonde ale, dry flinty malt character with light bitter hop finish. I was brought up on stuff like this so maybe biased, and it’s not characterful enough to be world beating, but I like it and had a couple quite quickly.

Chelmsford Beer Festival. Very light haze on this pale gold beer. Residual suddy white head. Light palate, crispy and a little dry. Mild juicy citrus - lemon and orange, Touch of minerals. Semi dry finish. Okay.

Aroma: Grain and cereal notes. Subtle lemon aroma.

Appearance: Clear, pale golden body with a small white head. Medium carbonation.

Taste: Like the aroma: grain and cereal. Quite nutty with muted citrus flavours.

Palate: Thin body, slick mouthfeel. Lively carbonation.

Overall: Solid but boring. Reminds me of Inveralmond’s Ossian.

50cl bottle from the Beer Boutique, Putney. Straw with a loose white head and high carbonation; grainy aroma; crisp grainy taste with a touch of citrus; and a reasonable, fresh, herbal bitterness as well. Pretty good for such a low ABV.

Very pale yellow, clear, think white head, good lacing.
Aroma of soft citrus hops, light pale malts, hint of peach. Taste of citrus hops, soft sweet grapefruit, light apricot, bit of zest.
Palate - soft bitter, a bit viscous so not too thin, soft mouthfeel. Finish - long lingering bitter zest, over bitter.
Overall - lot of flavour for 3.5% but finish a little harsh

UPDATED: DEC 28, 2012 Cask conditioned handpump Cask & Kitchen Brighton 20/05/12. A pale golden beer with a white bubbly head. Good piney bitterness in the mouth. Grapefruit in the nose. Spice and grass notes. Bit of toast and biscuit in the malts. Good beer especially at this low ABV. Score 3.4

Very pale and massively hoppy for this ABV without suffering from some of the sourness that pale beers of this strength tend to do. Quite An achievement and a decent session beer. If a bit dry. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
