A dry crisp pale ale strongly hopped with wonderfully floral Nelson Sauvin hops to give a strong but mellow citrus finish.

Bottle from Matkroken Natland, Bergen. Pours a pale yellow body with a small white head. Nose is pale malts, perfume, floral honey and hints of citrus and lime. Taste is citric peel, bitter herbs, pale malts and hints of bitter herbs and orange zest. Light body, soft to medium carbonation. A fairly tasty golden ale with a strong citric flavor profile.

Aroma: floral, grassy hops, hints of malt. Appearance: light clear gold, small white frothy head. Taste: light sweet and bitter. Palate: bitters intensifying, malts lingering in the background, average to long-finish, dry at the end, floral grassy notes. Overall: very nice Golden Ale, extra hops make it stand out of the crowd. Bottle from Beer Hawk, England.

500ml bottle from Booths. Pours clear pale yellow, thin white head. Aromas are floral and light citrus, white grape and light malt. Taste packs a fair hop punch, but manages to balance out with light sweet notes. Very nice.

An excellent pale from Ilkley, pours golden in colour, pungent NZ hops in the Aroma. Taste is catty, grassy NZ hops, with a perfectly pitched bitterness for a pale ale. Nelson Sauvin hops are used to great effect here, I would easily put this beer right up there with Kernel and Magic Rocks offerings.

Cask at Gallows bird. Pours almost clear pale golden with a sticky, frothy white head. Aroma has fruit, bit of hay and grass. Fairly full bodied on the tongue, mild carbonation and an appreciable bitterness. Aftertaste is lingering and dry.

A golden yellow coloured err with a weak white head. A light citrusy hop aroma, orange in particular. Dry mouthfeel. A tart citrus flavour, again, hints of orange, plus grapefruit and lemon. There is a slightly sweeter malty taste that disappears when the citrusy hop comes forward again in the finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

500 ml bottle.
Pours a golden colour with a white foamy head. Aroma is clean and very citrusy with orange zest and strong floral notes. Rich citrusy flavour of citrusy bitterness, floral notes, herbs, biscuit and mild grainy notes. Light bodied, slick mouthfeel and a dry, very bitter, citrusy finish. Refreshing and enjoyable. More please.

Drunk from Bottle Aroma wasn’t as good as the flavour. Zingy, hoppy and bouncy taste with a medium bitter aftertaste. A lagery-pale ale perfect for a pub garden in the summer, where a couple would go straight to your head. Less good on a winter’s night, but a nicely made pint nonetheless.
