COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Keg; Also available bottled.
A triple hopped IPA that packs a whole tepee full of taste! and bristling with flavour from the blend of punchy aroma hops. Honey orange in colour, with aromas of mango and citrus rising to a pleasant and balanced bitterness. A dry finish that leaves you wanting more!

From Westmalle chalice. Subtle and crisp. Hoppy prickle gives sharpness. Tastes very Oakham ish to me. Very faint vegetably finish spoils at the end. Easy drinking for abv. Medium bodied.

500ml bottle served in a small tulip. Clear deep amber with a weak head. Surprisingly mild aroma with relatively little hops. More sweet caramel malts. Mildly bitter aftertaste. O: unique and refreshing but mild PA rather than IPA.. Recommended as such.

Pours a pretty clear coppery amber with a nice light tan head. Aroma is fruity and malty, the former mainly apple and pear with a touch of banana; it is not strong but still stimulates the palate. Flavor is bolder than the aroma, adding woody and slightly bitter hops to the mix. Fizz is quite strong, if the viscosity is about average. A good sippin’ beer. by itself or with a meal or at a party.

Bottle Best Before Date expires in 1 month. Very grassy hops on the nose, smells a little tired but not yet gone. Pours a slight amber gold with no head. Very earthy bitterness with grassy notes and sweet malts in the background. Not bad. I’d like to try a slightly fresher bottle or on cask.

500ml Bottle - Gold/light amber in colour. Lemon, marmalade and grapefruit in the aroma. Lemon, grapefruit, mango and orange peel feature in the hoppy, fruity and slightly tangy taste. A decent drop.

Clear golden beer with a faint grassy aroma. Flavour is surprisingly gentle. Lemon, hops and a fresh, grassy feel in the mouth.

Tap at The Lyric. Pours a gold with a thin head. Caramel and pear aroma. Caramel, lemon, wood, marmalade, grapefruit. It's ok. Nothing that interesting. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from Ales By Mail [040314] BBE Jun 14
Amber, clear, off white head
Aroma of soft pine, sweet caramel malt, slight tropical fruit, some caramelised orange
Taste of sweet fruity caramel, caramelised orange, slight tropical notes, some hop resins, not that hoppy, fairly malty
Palate - soft carb, medium body, oily texture. Finish as main flavour, sweet fruity malts
Overall - Not that hoppy, bottle seems a bit old, not too bad but not that exciting either
