4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
500ml bottle from Beer Huis, Ossett - rich black body, lacing thick tan head. Nose is a hypnotic milk chocolate aroma, very much like a Cadbury’s Fruit and Nut. Taste is sweet and smoky, a little peppery bitterness at the end. Not as spicy as I’d expected, but enjoyed this immensely.

I was a little worried about a chocolate Chipotle stout but I loved it. It’s super smooth and the chocolate stands out but after a few you can taste the Chipotle. If you want something that will surprise you. Try this beer.

4.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Bottle from bier huis, ossett. Opaque black stout with not much head. Strong chocolate aroma with a little hint or chilli. Fantastic taste, lovely sweet chocolate start followed by fruity taste of peppers and dark malts. Final taste is slight spice from the chilli, with a tasty smoky aftertaste. Carbonation is mild and body is medium for stout. Loved this.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours an opaque black from the cask worth fluffy tan head that leaves great lace. Aroma is all chocolate, sweet and dark interplaying nicely. Taste follows, but add a hint of roast and a slight spicy burn on the back of the throat. Soft carbonation, creamy mouth, really easy to drink. This is superb.
