COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Saisons were originally farmhouse ales brewed in Belgium’s French-speaking region. They were made before hops became commonplace so other spices were used. This version is darker and more malt driven - rich Belgian speciality malts and stewed dried fruit give a smooth balance and the finish is dry and crisp.

Bottle at Cookie. Very well balanced. Aromas of caramel, apple, butter, and grain. Taste is sweet, with sour and bitter notes, average length. Palate is velvety, and medium bodied. Amber, with a thin head.

Sample taster, pours golden with some haze and turbidity, pillowy head. Soft sweet purfume with hints of fruits, bubblegum and floral hop. It has a medium to heavy sweetness and its texture is slightly cloying.
