3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
This should be called Illusive Travlr. 12 ounce bottle. Pours a murky orange with a thin frothy off-white head. Good head retention. Aroma of grapefruit juice and maybe some malt if you really look for it. The taste is pale malt, grapefruit, grapefruit zest, sugared citrus. Thin-medium bodied.

2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Cloudy yellow to orange pour with a thin, creamy off white head. Aroma is perfumey and floral citrus, sweet fruitiness and a hint of floury grain. Flavor is very much like orange slice gummy candies up front, followed by some lemon poppy seed cake and some light citrus bitterness to the finish. Medium body, syrupy, but chalky feel and light carbonation. Surprisingly enjoyable for the first couple sips, but cloying and too perfumey and candy like.

2.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Super bland for a shandy. Little lemon...and grapefruit was really muted. Euporean shandys and radlers are very superior! Boston Beer can do better than this!

Sampled from a 12 oz bottle this beer poured a fizzy hazy yellow color with a small soapy white head that faded quickly and left no lacing. The aroma was sweet grapefruit soda. The flavor was sweet grapefruit soda. Medium length finish. Light body. Tasty but not very beer like.

1.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 5/20
Bottle. Pours a hazy and cloudy yellow orange body with a small fizzy white head that faded to a thin ring. The nose is much more grapefruit juice than there is beer here. It actually tastes pretty refreshing in the overall sense, the bright juiciness of the fruit is tempered nicely with a fairly heavy yeastiness. The problem is that this is n the arena of beer, and in that sense, it’s pretty terrible. This belongs in the juice aisle. Medium bodied with a nice texture from the yeast and just a little clinginess. I can’t imagine there’s much of a market for this stuff, but I suppose the Sam Adams distro network can do it if anybody can.
