On tap, poured into a shaker. Sweet, fresh squeezed grapefruit juice and lemon juice blossom forth from the glass with a mineral water touch. Itís a murky, orange-red color with a white, light foam head that has a sparse, fuzzy retention. The taste is a medium sweet and very light, citrus bitter. The beer is thin and watery with a soda like fizzy carbonation and a light body. The flavor is not dissimilar to grapefruit soda with a tartness and light bread crust. Itís finish is clean and crisp with no aftertaste.

I found it to start out light crisp and refreshing. A nice flavor of grapefruit coming through. However by the end of my pint the overall was too much fruitiness for me. Maybe a can would be better size for the occasional different taste - those last few for me were not the best. ---Rated via Beer Buddy

A shandy is a guilty pleasure of mine, and I like this twist on it. Big punch of grapefruit in the face upon pouring. A murky orangish color with only fizzy bubbles for a head. Tastes refreshing though, and I could definitely put back more.

Cloudy pinkish yellow pour with a fizzy white head. Decent lacing. Aroma is grapefruit and lemonade. Taste is overly sweet grapefruit soda. Light palate.

Certainly get the grapefruit. Trouble is thatís really all thatís here. Seems more like grapefruit soda than a beer.

16 oz pour on draft at No Name Restaurant in Boston. Served in a Sam Adams glass. Hazy orange with off-white head. Aromas of grapefruit juice, sweet citrus. Tastes of grapefruit juice, wheat, slightly medicinal. Medium-light body with a dry finish.

12 oz bottle- Pours very hazy orange with a thin crackly foamy white head that reduces to a bubbly ugly ring, the nice unfiltered color saves this from being too low. Aroma is grapefruit, lemon rind, maybe a little spice. Taste is not bad at first, a nice fruity grapefruit flavor, but some off notes appear pretty quickly, band aid, pretty medicinal. Bubbly carbonation, thin body. Simple summer thirst quencher, but have had much better.

On tap at Hangar on the wharf. This was poured into a pint glass. The appearance was a nice looking hazy orange color with a thin white foamy head that dissipated to nothing. It didnít leave any lacing. The smell had the grapefruit in a sweet yet stingingly sharp accent. A light sugary touch graced the aroma as it warmed. The taste was swe and sharp with no aftertaste but a sharp quick finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a heavy carbonation about it. Overall, everything started off okay until I let it roll over my tongue. I didnít care for the mouthfeel, it seemed overly carbonated.
