3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 7/20
The most refreshing beer I have ever tasted. It is almost like drinking alcoholic sprite.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle to half-pint glass (shared with the Mrs.). Looks solid; a very hazy deeper grapefruit with fizzy white head that steadily dissipates into lacing. Smells of grapefruit, mild yeast, and some lemon zest. Tastes like it smells, with less grapefruit and more yeast, and a medium-bodied mouthfeel. Not bad, and better than the Apple Ale.

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
Tasted on draft at 2015 St. Louis Microfest in a willi becher glass. It poured a murky golden colour with no head. Mushy, synthetic grapefruit juice flavoured sugar water, no trace of grain nor beer body. Eh. Offensive. Geez, a mustache logo wheat beer grapefruit shandy…how shamelessly trendy can you be? Fail. Boston Beer Company, you should be ashamed of yourselves.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Illusive Traveler Grapefruit Ale has a thin, frothy, white head, a murky, milky, yellow-straw appearance, and little lacing left behind on the glass. The aroma is of citrus juice and white wheat bread. The flavor is the same, with citrus tartness and acidity. Mouthfeel is medium and fluffy, and Illusive Traveler Grapefruit Ale finishes tart and sweet. RJT

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
I'm kinda over these shandys only because they're showing up everywhere. I did like this, but like all of these, they're a little too filling and way too low in ABV. This tastes exactly like the original curious traveler shandy but finishes with a nice grapefruit taste.

Sweet grapefruit smell in a juicy juice spritzer kinda way, slightly cloudy, taste is bittersweet with touch of grapefruit finish

2.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
12 oz bottle. Grapefruit aroma. Lightly sweet grapefruit taste. Lightly bitter long finish. Overall ok tasting beverage. Different. Not necessarily a well crafted beer. probably a good summer tailgate beer for those who like citrus.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Draft. Citrus aroma--primarily orange with grapefruit notes. Cloudy gold color with white head and minimal lacing. Sweet, orange citrus flavor upfront with grapefruit asserting itself in the finish. Not bad for a shandy; very refreshing.
