COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
(Translated from Portuguese):
Launched on the Portuguese marked in 1942 as a luxury beer brand, the Imperial logo would grow to be the generic designation in its market, namely, the South, for a draft beer. SCC decided to start producing again a beer with the Imperial mark, continuously, from May 1995, when they decided to introduce a new brand to the market, lighter and directed to the youth, whose advertising reflects the joy and the irreverence of this age part of the consumer base.

Bottled. After 30cl still not much of taste or aroma found. Seems there are some homeopathetic amounts of grain. Haven’t noticed any hops. Since there’s alcohol I guess yeast is or was present in a way. About that other ingredient in beer: water... It seems they did not cut the budget on this one. Loads of it! If you enjoy decent water; this is definitely your pick!

Hamirubi (541) - Waarschoot, BELGIUM - AUG 3, 2015
33cl bottle at home, bought in a supermarket in Lisboa (Portugal). Very clear, clean and pale lager with copper to orange colour and a diminishing, slim white foam. The aroma is subtly malted. The brew is high in carbonation, making it a vivid lager - but the taste however is far too watery to make it an interesting beer. The bitterness is not noteworthy, the sweetness is weak. A real downer, this one.
