2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
Not entirely sure why I tried this. I know Opa Opa has no clue what an IPA is, and with this beer they’ve hardened my resolve to that notion. Weak, lilted, not bitter enough and per usual a sourish malt bomb...

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Straight from a growler via the brewmasters tavern in Williamsburg, MA, this is a grand IPA. Taste is sweet and malty and then hoppy goodness. Color is a stand up amber that shines dilligently. Head is foamy yet subsides quickly. ABV is masked quite marvelously. Taste comes back to amber, grapefruit, musky cinnamon, pine that has fallen from the tree for 4 days, and resonated nutmeg. Aroma is citurs fresh that ushers in a medalion like smell as well. Taste going down is tinny at first yet subtle and profound the next. Solid brew.

4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
on tap at the brewpub, pours amber with a medium white head. Aroma is strong citrus hops and pine. Flavor is mildly sweet toasted malt, very rich resin hop flavors ending extremely dry. Drank this side by side with the Warthog IIPA and this one seemed to have a bit more hop character.
