[465-20070728] Sample @ LCBO-Summerhill. Buttery corn aroma. Clear, pale yellow orange body with a quick foamy white head. Corn syrup flavour has artificially sweetened qualities. Light-medium body. Almost refreshing, impressively not as horrible as anticipated. (4/2/3/2/7) 1.8

[1864B-20081121] 355mL bottle. Toasted straw aroma. Clear, pale yellow brown body with quick foamy white bubbles. Bland toasted straw flavour has a mild bitter lemon pip characteristic. Light body. Bland, a bit boring. (4/2/3/2/8) 1.9

12 oz. bottle. Importado do Brasil. Must be meant for the Canadians. Strange aroma, neither hop nor malt. Musty? Pale brassy gold color. The white head just fizzed out of existence. Didn’t even leave a film. Thin to medium bodied. Pale malt sweet. Nothing to balance that. Something of a slight wet paper aftertaste. Finish? Not sure there was one. It is quite different. If the Brazilians won’t drink it, should we? Update: Walked by a Brazilian steak house in downtown San Diego on 7/26; people were sitting at tables with their hands wrapped around bottles of this stuff. Having a good time!

Creamed corn, grass and grain greet the nose. Brilliantly clear golden body is topped by a shy, large bubbled, white head that recedes very rapidly to a slight ring. Light sweet flavour offers both creamed corn and butter but both in very low doses so as not to be overwhelming. Light finishing bitterness. Light body with fairly strong carbonation that leaves you feeling somewhat bloated and gassy. Burp. Tulip glass. Fridge temperature. Clear glass bottle (BCLS on Cambie at 8th, Apr-07).

Bouteille 341ml transparente.
