Skuny beer, way too watery, felt like someone put ice in my glass and let it melt. The bottle is pretty cool and gripable! Had this just to say I had it!

(Bottle 33 cl) Clear, pale pilsener golden with a small, white head. Sweet aroma of corn. Medium body, very sweet from malts and brewing cereal and an edge of cardboard. Very, very subdued bitterness. Not unpleasant as such but incredibly bland. 030307

Had as a special beer of the month in Brugge. After having trappist beers all week I was looking for a change and this provided a nice change. Was suprised to have such a nice crisp beer coming from Brazil.

Gold color with bright white head. Aroma comes off as sharp hops with edges of metal and hints of malt sweetness. The flavor is obviously mild considering the style. The level of carbonation, the light hoppiness and mild malt sweetness go well together here. It does eventually seem to be a bit too much on the sweet side for me. I really don’t like how the label misled me to believe it was a Brazilian beer.

Pale golden yellow carbonated body with no head yet still manages to lace the glass. Smells horrible, tastes worst and mouthfeel is like carbonated water and leaves an oily feeling. Had this the first time in blistering heat and thought it was kinda good and refreshing. Now it just plain stinks!

(Bottle) Purchased at the BCLS on Fort Street in Victoria. Pours a foamy white head with a clear, non-carbonated deep amber body. Nose of wet grain, perfume and thin hops. Flavour is weak, watery and wasteful. Very machine oil lubricant flavour and pretty terrible. Yuck!

330ml bottle from ASDA. In an open and blind tasting with Cerveza Aguila, Cusqueña, Palma Louca and Michelob Ultra this came top. It was easily recognised. Sandy coloured. Open carbonation yet with bite. Malty aroma - toffee - caramel. Quite an intense and pleasant aroma for a pale lager. Clean tasting. Inoffensive. Some suggestions of the aroma linger in the taste. Something straw or hay like about the taste. Something like vanilla and whiskey. Raw mushrooms. This is the most pleasurable and most characterful of the bunch. That’s not to say we have a brilliant beer here - simply that from a handful of pale lagers it stands out.
