Commercial Description:
Editor's Note: Global beer from InBev, using the Brazilian Brahma brand. Not actually sold in Brazil at present (05/05). The beer was first brewed at Dommelsche for marketing in Europe. For the Canadian market, it is actually brewed in Brazil.

(Bottled) Colour is pale yellow with a frothy, quickly disappearing, head. Nose is ... uhm ... very modest, almost non existing. Slightly grassy, flowery notes, no traces whatsoever of hops. Taste is sweet and rather malty, neutral with hints of boiled corn (which may very well be exactly what it is) and artifical sweetener. Light body. May very well do the trick chilled on a hot afternoon on the Copacabana, but otherwise a rather pointless brew.

Wow, hey, we get a beer that’s genuinely brewed in Brazil! That country known for having good beer...right? Right?! You wouldn’t force-feed us crap beer because it’s a marketing gimmick, would you? Goddamn, this is terrible. I mean, drinkable, yes, but a cheap berry-like sweetness dominates up front and a foul spoiled vegetable flavour follows up. Plasticky and washed-out.

Golden/yellow, white head. Fruity, sugary aroma. Quite flat malty flavor. Mild finish.

[bottle from ASDA] "Neutral aroma" is about right, though i think they could apply "less accentuated" to every aspect of this beer, not just bitterness.

Very thin, can’t trace hops in neither the taste nor the aroma. In fact, the only thing I can taste except for water is notches of whiskey. Very easy to drink though, so I you plan to get drunk, by all means drink this.

So this is our big summer beer here in Ontario, eh? Bottle shared with GregClow, Hogtown Harry, Blankboy, and Jerc, I brought it. Light yellow, small white head. Rancid aroma of skunk and water. Corny grain taste - awful. Not much else here.

Bottle@The Last Plantagenet, Leicester. Light and pale beer with a yeasty aroma and a yeasty and sugary sweet flavour with minmal bitterness. Overall a poor trans-atlantic lager.
