Bottle shared with HogTownHarry, GregClow, jerc & tupalev -- courtesy of tupalev. Pours a clear pale gold with a spare diminishing white head. Crappy skunky grainy aroma. Watery, skunky grainy flavour. Light bodied. Why would anyone willingly buy this?

Bottle (341ml). Shared with blankboy, GregClow, jerc and tupalev - tupalev’s bottle. Look, we all know this is going to be crap - too many slick add campaigns from InBev, the name, the look - but we’re ratings whores, so we got to be true to who and what we are, so ... clear oily pale yellow, no head. Aroma is simply nasty - skunky and vile and just beer-like enough to raise itself above 1/10. Has a harsh cheap sour rain taste, with a strong and unpleasant aftertaste that I predict I’ll remember for a while. Mouthfeel is fizzy and watery - very watery - summed up, this is a shit beer. Who’d have predicted that?

2008-11-14. Pale yellow with a small white head. Lightly off/skunky aroma, touch of lemon over straw. Similar flavour, light lemon and lemongrass notes are sort of pleasant but I suspect that they are not intentional. Grainy generic foundation. Thin palate. Meh. 3/2/3-4/1/6 Bottle from Mini-market @ Majestic Colonial, Punta Cana
May 2006. Bottle that fits rather nicely into the hand. :) Pale yellow, small white head. Aroma of odd vegetal citrus? Lightly skunked. Skunky grainy flavour is dilute. Thin palate. 2/3/3/2/3 - 1.3

Bottle shared with blankboy, jerc, HogTownHarry & tupalev - courtesy of tupalev. Pale gold with a quick white head. Stale skunky aroma. Bland mainstream pale lager flavour. Hooray for marketing!

Bottle shaped like that of a brazillian model. THat’s about the only good thing here. Skunky flavour and nose. Some sweet corn taste but poorly kept in a clear bottle. some grass. Nothing really to pick out.

(0.33L Bottle) Watery, skunky flavor. I actually expected more flavor out of this one, which was definitely not there. Finish was bland as well.

Very pale yellow with a thick, dense head. Slightly wheaty aroma. Thin, metallic flavour. Grassy bitterness in the finish. Better than expected, but then again, I didn’t expect much...........

Hard to find anything unique about this one. Corn smell, too carbonated, skunked like so many other mediocre lagers. Produces nice belches, but otherwise interchangeable with 30 other brands available at the beer Store. But, neat bottle. One interesting thing: the name "Labatts" doesn’t appear anywhere on the packaging - either on the bottle or on the 6-pack cardboard. It would be better - in my opinion - for Molsons and Labatts to actually try to produce or distribute beers that didn’t taste like the swill they already pump out, rather than spend so much time and marketing energy trying to hide their presence from their beers. People who like good beer are not this easily fooled.
