pootzboy (1037), Hawgville, Ontario, Canada Apr 29, 2006 Updated: Aug 20, 2006If I had to summarize this beer in a couple of words I’d choose ; "bottled hype". This is another In-bev all hype international beer with the same dull pale fizzy corn/rice adjunct profile of the degenerated SA export beers: pale yellow, fizzy, no head, clear-crisp-dry-clean rice and corn dextrins in the nose, taste and body,... fast sweet finish with no substance in between except for an annoying sour rice flavor that is presumably supposed to be the adjunct lemon wedge in your tropical latin beach beer.....there I tried it, it sucks I can live out my life without it. LordUppity (26), Surrey, British Columbia, Canada Apr 24, 2006 Bottle. Light gold in colour. Slightly skunked aroma. I was barely able to taste this while having it with food. Very watery with a high carbination factor. Will not be buying it again. Hooker (450), New Westminster, British Columbia, Canada Apr 24, 2006 Clear gold colour with thick white head. Stale yeast and mild mild nose. Skunky malt taste with mild malt finish. Ughsmash (3983), Waukesha, Wisconsin, USA Apr 22, 2006 Bottled at Sushi Samba, Miami Beach. Poured a brighter golden with a fizzy cap of white head. Nose was of mild sweet malts, corn, and hints of grassiness. The above find the flavor, too... along with a significant lighter fruit profile that came out of nowhere. Watery. I found nothing offensive from this one... also nothing to make me go back. hughie (3018), Bedford, Bedfordshire, England Apr 19, 2006 Pale gold, faint malt aroma. Sweet taste with little bitterness. Just another fizzy global lager. No better or worse than scores of others. gnoff (3560), Göteborg, Sweden Apr 16, 2006 Bottle from Swedish "Systembolaget". Light golden color, white bubbly head. Malty scent, smells of flour and oat meal. Thin watery malty taste, low bitterness. Still a bit refreshing. Not too malty. Sweet after taste. Seems I like it a lot more than the average, but it’s different from the badly made Swedish and Danish beers that they usually sell cheap in Sweden. Lubiere (4463), Ottawa, Ontario, Canada Apr 15, 2006 Golden lager with a creamy white head. Lightly skunked upon opening, with mineral chalky notes. In mouth, rather fresh malts, no hops, light and quaffable beer , for the Copacabana beaches! destroye7 (299), Melbourne, Australia Apr 15, 2006 355 ml bottle. Good carbonation, good foamy head that disapeared quickly. Skunky and fruity aroma. That beer is lighter than corona. Nice for the hot summer but not for me.
