COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Editor's Note: Global beer from InBev, using the Brazilian Brahma brand. Not actually sold in Brazil at present (05/05). The beer was first brewed at Dommelsche for marketing in Europe. For the Canadian market, it is actually brewed in Brazil.

Having been to Brazil a few times, I don’t recall anyone anywhere in that country even mentioning this beer, but that’s marketing for you. It pours with almost no head and a boring gold colour. Aroma is nothing at all. Flavour is a bit of fruity lager notes and a foul corn finish and another awful aftertaste after that. It’s just not working, even as a cold liquid. Just yuck.

33cl bottle. Pours a light golden with bubbles and no head. It smells of vegetable oil and sweetcorn with perhaps a faint hint of hay. The taste is of more of that unpleasant vegetable oil. The palate has a thin body, a thin structure and no real conclusion at the end. Overall, if there is one thing worse than a tasteless beer, it’s an unpleasantly tasting beer and this is one of those. It needs to be served even colder than normal to overcome the unpleasantness.

Light golden "beer" with a minimum head. Aroma is light and taste is even more light. Just like drinking some bad sparkling water.

12 ounce bottle in tumbler. Forced to drink it by my so-called friends because we had nothing else left. Golden yellow with ring head. Foul corn and bandaids aroma. Pungent rank corn syrup sweetness with medium finish chemical bitterness. Gross. Couldn’t finish it.

So this is our big summer beer here in Ontario, eh? Bottle shared with GregClow, Hogtown Harry, Blankboy, and Jerc, I brought it. Light yellow, small white head. Rancid aroma of skunk and water. Corny grain taste - awful. Not much else here.

Having some poor luck of late with the beers I’ve chosen to buy. This one was the Brazilian equivalent of Carlton Cold, and yet know one wants to claim they brewed it. InBev has produced it, it’s bottled here by Carlton & United and it has the biggest warning sign "For export only" adorning the piss-poor label. Some lucky kids could mistake this for a bottle of soda and have a wonderful afternoon as it has no nasty beer qualities in it to turn the little blighters off. In fact I think they should market it towards kids for two reasons- 1) They’ll soon stop downing them when the headaches start and 2) You won’t catch too many adults admitting to drinking the stuff, it’s like poison. Poured a clear, pale gold with an artificial, dense white crown that persisted for the length. Feint aroma of wet cardboard and nothing else, certainly making it even more enticing. Ultra-light in body and frothy on the tongue. Chemically sweet like Nutri-sweet tablets upfront with a sour, astringent, mouth-puckering feel down the back before its highlight- no aftertaste!!! (for this one it was a plus). This was pitiful, making a bottle of Corona or Sol look like tasty alternatives. A six-pack of these would be followed by six-days of headaches and vertigo with the amount of sugar this was brewed with. On the positive side, I only have to try it once!!! 355ml bottle from Threshers. Pale gold with no head. Bit of corn on the aroma. No real flavour and a slight buttery finish with some dryness. Awful

Pale golden beer, thick white head. Very little aroma, a faint corn and dish soap aroma perhaps. As it warms a hint of pear. Flavour is watery and bland. No bitterness to speak of. No need for this boring brew.
