3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Skinnyviking (5712) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - AUG 17, 2008
Can. High fluffy and quickly disappearing white head. Clear amber body. Sweet caramel honey aroma. High carbonation and a flavor of barley malt with caramel and hops bitterness. Shor bitter sweet aftertaste.
1.3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20 SilkTork (4738) - Rochester, Kent, United Kingdom, WALES - DEC 24, 2004
Strange fish food after-taste. Metallic notes. Firm carbonation. Cardboard aroma. There is little to like about this, but at least it tastes cleaner and safer than the third world lager I just had.
1 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 3/20 Hildigöltur (5107) - København, DENMARK - MAR 23, 2004
An extremely thin and watery brew. Brewed for the can. Yeah, let it stay there.
1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20 Jeppe (2633) - Ølbutikken, DENMARK - MAR 22, 2004
Orange golden body, foamy head. Aroma is hoppy and somewhat metallic. Drinkable but not very good.
2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 Ungstrup (24024) - Oamaru, NEW ZEALAND - MAR 21, 2004
The color is a hazy amber and it has a white head. The aroma is sour hoppy is it lack of sugar or brewing cereal? The flavor is malty with notes of straw and a slightly hoppy end. A below average beer.
1 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 3/20 imdownthepub (7494) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - JAN 25, 2004
Tinned. Carbonated amber. Metallic overnotes with a tinny lead background. Awful through its entirity, a bit like a 60's B movie, nostalgic but crap.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 johndoughty (2946) - cheslyn hay, West Midlands, ENGLAND - MAY 7, 2003
A blast from the past whichI thought had died with flared trousers. The
first beer brewed especially for the can (is it a beer or a lager?) it has stood the test of time well. Quite a pleasant amber appearance and with a positive firm taste without the metalic undertones of most canned beers. If only everything from the sixties had aged so well!
2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 leaparsons (6335) - Leicester, Leicestershire, ENGLAND - OCT 24, 2002
Apparently this was the first beer brewed for the can. Its not bad. There is a strong grain taste with a slightly dry finish. It actually tastes quite unique for a canned lager.
