COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Regionally grown American pale malt is blended with rich European malts to produce a lighter bodied beer, bright in color, with a taught white head that keeps track of time as you sip. Then there are the hops – four pounds per barrel to be exact. Willamettes, Cascades, CTZ and Summits give this brew a citrus punch and spicy character that greets you in the nose and embraces your mouth with a clean, crisp bitterness.

355 ml can via Piscator 34 (thanks buddy)!! Pours a clear light amber with a large off-white head. Aroma is heavy malt, grapefruit, and a little damp basement. Taste is an assertive caramel maltiness and doubly assertive bitterness. Biting mouthfeel with an intensely astringent bitterness right from the start through to the lengthy finish. This is a "punch you in the face" kinda pale ale. A little much for my personal preferences but an interesting beer nonetheless.

Pine resin aroma. Nicely bitter, with a woodsy, meaty, resinous flavour. A great APA.

Pours a slightly cloudy, golden yellow with big head that dissipates rather quickly. Big hop aroma. Flavor is very hoppy, with an almost soapy aftertaste. Grassy and citrus flavors as well. Very bitter finish to the beer. Nice--looking forward to what else these guys come up with.

Aroma is soft and piney... With a mild foral note. It pours deep golden with a nice lingering white head..... Taste starts sharp and astringent it finishes long and bitter. Not a whole lot of discernable flavors mainly sharp and bitter hops. Palate is even and medium. Overall this is a solid brew worth a try but I won’t make room in my fridge for it...

Pours a nice deep golden color with three fingers of sticky foam that laces and sits nicely. Aromas are big and ripe hop notes; spicy, rustic grass, citrus ,mango, pineapple on the front and some caramel malts in the back. On the palate its focused and clean with great citrus fruit and grassy bitterness riding a smooth malty backbone ! Nice Beer... Thanks Khoffman !

Tap. Pours clear amber with a small white head and decent lacing. Aroma is grapefruit and pine. Flavor about the same, lightly sweet, lightly bitter. Light bodied, but very refreshing.

Draft sample. Dark gold in colour with moderate carbonation. Aromas are of sweet orange, black pepper, pine sap, a bit of pale malt, and herbs. Favors are super hop forward with notes of raw hop cone, white grapefruit, spice, and tangerine. Quite dry on the palate and light bodied. Magnificent stuff.

[On-tap at Indeed] This rating is for the Day Tripper dry hopped with Summit. Pours hazy amber with a nice off-white head. Aroma is a blast of grapefruit rind. Taste is really interesting--just juicy grapefruit and blood orange. Guerde got celery taste from it, which I could see, although it didn’t detract from the beer. There was also a lot of papaya and solid malt. Nice mouthfeel, smooth. Really nice beer, better than Fresh Hop, and love the flavor profile.

Golden pour with an average white head. Aromas of grapefruit, earthy hops. One of the more hop forward in the APA style. Very good palate. A good session beer with a lot of flavor. Reminds me a bit of Moon Man from New Glarus. Perhaps not quite to that level, but pretty spectacular beer here for my first taste indeed.
