UPDATED: JAN 24, 2013 Can. Pours a nice clear gold with a little white head. Aroma is strong hops. Flavor is bitter hops, very much like an IPA.

4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
[On-tap at Indeed] This rating is for the Day Tripper dry hopped with Summit. Pours hazy amber with a nice off-white head. Aroma is a blast of grapefruit rind. Taste is really interesting--just juicy grapefruit and blood orange. Guerde got celery taste from it, which I could see, although it didn’t detract from the beer. There was also a lot of papaya and solid malt. Nice mouthfeel, smooth. Really nice beer, better than Fresh Hop, and love the flavor profile.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Golden pour with an average white head. Aromas of grapefruit, earthy hops. One of the more hop forward in the APA style. Very good palate. A good session beer with a lot of flavor. Reminds me a bit of Moon Man from New Glarus. Perhaps not quite to that level, but pretty spectacular beer here for my first taste indeed.

1.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 4/20
Appearance - Light and bright golden color. Great representation of the Pale Ale style.
Aroma - Smells fantastic! Great American hop smell that I could enjoy for days.
Taste - Total let down. Definitely a rogue flavor in there that I can’t put my finger on. No malt sweetness at all. Really high on perceived bitterness. Not the typical bitterness one would expect in an APA.
Palate - Extreme carbonation. Definite carb burn this go ’round. Light body and really thin. Really dry and bitterness lingers way too long. I feel like I could almost scrape the bitterness off the back of my tongue.
Overall - Everything was great until I put it in my mouth (that’s what she said)

On draught at the Indeed Brewing Company’s taproom in Minneaolis, MN. Pours a semi-clear golden amber colored brew with an average sized off-white head that slowly dissipates to a thin rings and some spotty lacing. aroma of distinct 3-C’s hops, mostly Cascade, some mild caramel malt, and a touch of spice. Flavor is medium bodied, favors of mostly citrus hops with some lit hard fruit, caramel malt and a touch of sage. Finish is semi-dry, with a short lived grapefruit aftertaste followed by a dry earthy malt flavor.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
This is an ok beer. Looks clean and crisp for a pale ale. Nice smooth beer with good flavors. My only issue was the citrus smell and taste and lingering bitter aftertaste.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
12 oz. can to glass. Pours bright light orange with a clean tight white soapy head that dissipates to a film and collar. Aroma is surprising bright piny grapefruit hops and is dominate in the scent. Taste is more piny hops and the malt being in the background, but balances it out well. Palate is clean and crisp with a medium mouth feel and a chalky dry finish. Wow this is very well made and awesome. This is a new beer that will be in the fridge often!

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap at the happy gnome... Pours a predominantly transparent cidery orange brown hue and topped with a creamy white head that quickly dissipates... Aroma of fresh citrus and grass. Crisp and clean. Subtle caramel malt undertones beneath... Flavors are a consistent continuation of the same. Crisp citrusy and grassy. Clean and drinkable. Lighter bodied with a nice grassy bitterness on the backend. Solid.

750ml bottle from Atom, thanks Adam! Bottled on Sept 6, 2012. Pours a lightly hazed, deeper golden colored body with a finger-width, dense, creamy and frothy, off-white head that dissipates slowly and leaves a nice lacing. Aroma is really nice. Big, fresh citruses with a grassy zest, a somewhat herbal spice, and a touch of pine. Some florals and tropical fruits come out more as this warms with a nice, lightly sweetened, somewhat bready and grainy pale malt backing. Flavor is solid as well. More dank and grassy with a bit of an herbal, pine spice up front. Very lightly sweetened, grainy, slighly bready pale malt backing again with lots of citruses and a light, floral tropical fruitiness. Finishes very dry, pretty crisp, somewhat spicy, and moderately bitter with a good amount of citrus fruits. Lengthy aftertaste following a medium-light body and a crisp, moderate carbonation. Overall, a great pale ale. Crisp, dry, and well hopped with lots of citruses, a few tropical fruits, and a lightly sweetened, grainy pale malt backing. Very easy drinking and enjoyable. Man, Indeed is impressing me so far.
