Regionally grown American pale malt is blended with rich European malts to produce a lighter bodied beer, bright in color, with a taught white head that keeps track of time as you sip. Then there are the hops – four pounds per barrel to be exact. Willamettes, Cascades, CTZ and Summits give this brew a citrus punch and spicy character that greets you in the nose and embraces your mouth with a clean, crisp bitterness.

12 oz. can, thanks to TheHOFF43. Pours orange, with a small head. The aroma is rye, floral hops, straw, resin, and light cardamon. Sweet, with a mild hop bitterness, and savory spice. Leaves a pretty unpleasant, bitter aftertaste. Light to medium body, acidic, and very astringent. Overall, this is a nice, aromatic pale ale, but the flavor, especially the aftertaste, is lacking.

Good. Like a light IPA but cloudy appearance. Very drinkable and smooth. Aroma is nice.

Tap in a pint glass at Champps in Maple Grove. Light golden color with a small, persistent head. Aroma has some hints of grapefruit but is more subtle than anticipated. Flavor leans too much on bitter without a great deal of balance. Floral at the end. Some citrus. Relatively easy to drink but definitely the most unexciting of the Indeed offerings. Decent pale ale in a pinch.

Tap. Pint. Gold with white head. Pine and some grapefruit aroma. Bitter and piney. A bit funky . My pour not totally crisp. Pretty average.

12 oz can, thanks to Bacterial. Pours clear gold with an inch of dense white head, leaving behind sheets of lacing. Aroma: pine, pet urine, just a bit of citrus. Taste: Pine gives way to caramel sweetness with toast in the finish. Lasting bitterness. Tastes like a nice IPA -- not sure what categorizes this as an APA, but I guess the boundaries are porous. Light-medium body, lively carbonation, crisp finish. Overall: My wife and I both enjoyed this one quite a bit.

A: Small half-finger of white foam that fade somewhat quick. Hazy golden color. S: Light dankness that has a candied mango, tangerine type aroma and slight onion in the background. Very sweet fruity aroma with a sturdy caramel backbone and maybe some breadiness. Very pleasing. T: Upfront a burned kind of breadiness. Then fades into a caramel and fruity citrus appears. Then some pine appears and fade. A little different, nice. M: Nice carbonation, medium body. O: Really nice pale ale, glad to have tried this one. I would say this was a nice gateway beer into Indeed Brewing.

Can from Zipp’s Liquors. Pleasant piney hop nose, light caramel. Murky brown/amber color, thin off-white head. Lip-smacking rich caramel, then fresh strong hops, then some balance, then long deep resinous hop tracks. Thin-medium body, hops as a texture. Very nice, West coast sort of stuff. Another winner from Indeed.

Very nice. Copper colored pour. Good malt backbone. Not sweet. Nice hoppiness. Slightly bitter. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
