COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Regionally grown American pale malt is blended with rich European malts to produce a lighter bodied beer, bright in color, with a taught white head that keeps track of time as you sip. Then there are the hops four pounds per barrel to be exact. Willamettes, Cascades, CTZ and Summits give this brew a citrus punch and spicy character that greets you in the nose and embraces your mouth with a clean, crisp bitterness.

Type: 12-oz. can Glass: Lagunitas mason jar From: My cousin Sam Price: N/A Purchased: Received it on Nov. 4, 2013 Consumed: Nov. 5, 2013 Misc.: Canned on May 27, 2013 Poured a caramel orange hazy color with 2-to-3 fingers of frothy white head. Lots of sporadic spiderweb lacing along the sides of the glass. Good retention as well. Smelled a potent whiff of fresh hops up front. Initially reminded me of a Stone Ruination IPA or a Lagunitas IPA. Specifically got citrus hops (grapefruit, tangerine and some lemon), floral hops, buttery caramel malts, wet Cascade hops and resin hops. Much more like an IPA than a pale ale. Tasted more like a pale ale than an IPA, albeit still bitter. Got buttery caramel malts, lemon grass, resin hops, earthy, grainy, honey wheat and bitter floral hops. Medium-to-light body. Oily texture. Average-to-lively carbonation. Long, bitter finish. Not a bad beer and Im grateful for the opportunity to try it. Id definitely have it again.

Can shared by Ryan (Steasy66) at Craft Islington. Pale colour, white head. Nose is lots of passion fruit, grapefruit citrous sour, slight bread/biscuit malt, lots of minerals. Taste is flinty minerally, grapefruit sour and lots of passion fruit.

Can shared at CBC Islington during the Ryan Tasting - big thanks to Ryan for this one! Great balance here. Dry citrus, restrained pale malt sweetness. Super fresh and drinkable. I could easily sink a few of these.

12oz can, Steasy tasting at CBC Islington. Thanks to Ryan. It pours a pale golden color with a small white head. Aroma is all in the way of hops with a light biscuity touch. Taste is well balanced and fruity hoppy. Citrusy and some dough. Medium bodied with good carbonation. Overall, good one.

Bottle cheers to Ryan. Hazy golden pour with a sticky white head. Nose is very big and grassy! Massive pine needles. Taste shows a heap of grass and pine again while a touch of citric rind comes through. A subtle hint of barnyard notes as well which is appealing. Fantastic

On tap at Icehouse. Pours a hazy gold color. Light pine and citrus hop aroma, taste is light, though the finish gets strong and bitter. Palette cleansing qualities, good for good pairing. Definitely complementary to wings! Very decent session beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

9/29/13. 12oz can thanks to ZMDR1975. A good addition to my quest for more pale ales. Hazed orange pour with a nice khaki head that laces a ton. Dank hop aroma, resiny, pine, a bit of cat pee and rag, hints of doughy pale malts. Nice flavor, bitter, but not too much, fresh hops, green, floral, citrus, more lingering dankness, resin, and rag. Tasty.
