COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Regionally grown American pale malt is blended with rich European malts to produce a lighter bodied beer, bright in color, with a taught white head that keeps track of time as you sip. Then there are the hops – four pounds per barrel to be exact. Willamettes, Cascades, CTZ and Summits give this brew a citrus punch and spicy character that greets you in the nose and embraces your mouth with a clean, crisp bitterness.

On tap at Icehouse. Pours a hazy gold color. Light pine and citrus hop aroma, taste is light, though the finish gets strong and bitter. Palette cleansing qualities, good for good pairing. Definitely complementary to wings! Very decent session beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

9/29/13. 12oz can thanks to ZMDR1975. A good addition to my quest for more pale ales. Hazed orange pour with a nice khaki head that laces a ton. Dank hop aroma, resiny, pine, a bit of cat pee and rag, hints of doughy pale malts. Nice flavor, bitter, but not too much, fresh hops, green, floral, citrus, more lingering dankness, resin, and rag. Tasty.

12 oz. can. Pours a nice orang pour with a big eggshell colored head. Big hoppy aroma, strong citrus and pine aroma. Flavor is big and bitter, nice pine and citrus rind notes. Medium bodied, finishes long and citrusy. Lovely beer.

Can thanks to jcwattsrugger. Pours orange gold with white head. Nose and taste of orange peel, pineapple, dried citrus, caramel malt and dried pine. Lighter medium body. Very dry finish.

UPDATED: JAN 30, 2014 Can to solo cup at tailgate. A firm bitterness with a very grassy hop flavor. I think I say on this can too long in the rot box. Watery finish. Shoulda drank fresher. Please send me more. ---Rated via intercellular device Rerate with fresh can thanks to CLevar. cracked open to an immediate hop nose. drinking from the can. Mostly the cascade-y grapefruit in the nose. not much spicy, a little grassy. Initially the beer is a little thin and watery. Would like to see a little more malt in this, just doesn’t have much body to it. Hop profile keeps the beer together and the bitterness is a little much given the lack of balancing malt. Seems to linger with an almost astringent drying. Good, but would like just a touch more of specialty malt. Bumped rating up 2 points aroma and 2 points.

Can of this garbage juice @ a BBQ, courtesy of the Hoff. Thanks, bro. Clear orange pour with a white head. Solid grapefruit and orange hop aromas. Hints of green melon, bread, and grass. Flavor is sweet up front with some fruit and malt notes. Grapefruit, grass, orange, and melon follow. Light to moderate bitterness. Not a bad pale ale.

UPDATED: MAR 27, 2014 Can: Half murky copper pipe color with a slowly settling creamy top. Nice walls of lacing at the top. Aroma is pretty nice. Some pungent hops, ashy and herbal citrus peel, deeper grapefruit flesh, too. Leafy and juicy. Taste is much more abundantly bitter... Almost tongue scraping. Herbaceous, lots of white pepper and leaves. Very peely and pithy citric character. Dry finish, understated malt with a touch of toast, pretty nice. Not as drinkable or balanced as many pale ales but still tasty.

From can. Light amber with frothy white head. Awesome hop aroma. Citrus and lots of hop musk. Taste starts with a light malt and frothy mouthfeel and ends with more spice and a more moderate bitter finish. It's not quite as malty as a Midwest pale ale but also more aggressive than most US pal ales. Nice to try this great beer out of Minnesota thanks to my future sister in law. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
