3.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
From can. Light amber with frothy white head. Awesome hop aroma. Citrus and lots of hop musk. Taste starts with a light malt and frothy mouthfeel and ends with more spice and a more moderate bitter finish. It's not quite as malty as a Midwest pale ale but also more aggressive than most US pal ales. Nice to try this great beer out of Minnesota thanks to my future sister in law.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
12oz can. Light amber pour with a slightly tan head that fades to a nice ring around the glass. Earthy citrus with some light resin, fairly bitter, with a moderate+ carbonation, moderate body, becomes dry with more pine and a fairly grainy malt character as things finish up.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
On cask at the brewery - lemon drop dry-hopping. Pour is clear golden-orange with a big white head and great lacing. Big lemony aroma - pineapple, oranges, mango, biscuit malt, straw and grapefruit. Taste is grassy, herbal hoppy, lemons, cracker malt, light pineapple, and candied fruits with a medium bitter finish. Medium body with soft carbonation. Solid IPA.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap at the brewery. Hazy gold pour, white head with lots of nice lacing. It’s a good, clean pale ale with a hop bite at the end. Kind of classic to the style. Glad to see this place in our old neighborhood.

Can shared by a friend. Clear gold pour with a thick white head. Aroma of sweet malt, tropical fruit and earthy hop. Malty flavor with tropical fruit accents before a grassy hop finish.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
This was on tap and poured into a mug.
The appearance was a nice looking hazy golden orange to amber color with a bar pour’s kind of slim white head that dissipated within about thirty seconds. A light stringy lacing settles around the glass.
The smell had a sweet and lightly spiced semi-peppery aroma running under a sweet maltiness.
The taste pretty much copied the smell and carried a slight spice into the aftertaste and finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. The carbonation was there and good for the style and for me.
Overall, I say this was a pretty nice APA that I would definitely have again.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Shared 12 oz. cans, poured to snifters showing a cloudy, orangey gold color, with a presentable head of soft white foam, and spots & streaks of lacing. The nose started with some basement dankness, then earthiness & pulp, with maybe a bit of citrus as orange. Light to medium bodied, the taste provided a very lingering, earthy, rind-like, and dry hop bitterness propelled by lively carbonation. Not enough mellowing malt to take the edge off.
