COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Regionally grown American pale malt is blended with rich European malts to produce a lighter bodied beer, bright in color, with a taught white head that keeps track of time as you sip. Then there are the hops – four pounds per barrel to be exact. Willamettes, Cascades, CTZ and Summits give this brew a citrus punch and spicy character that greets you in the nose and embraces your mouth with a clean, crisp bitterness.

Great refreshing beer for those hot summer days. A hop heads delight nice and crisp and one of a kind.

The smell is just wonderful. But then you take a sip and you feel the hops hitting the taste buds and you just sit back and enjoy the ride. Good thing it is called Day Tripper.

Poured into a pint glass from a 12oz can. Super light in color, some medium yellow with a light orange hue, sticky off-white head with some deep resin aromas. Very impressive hop presence, that blends really well. A great, great pale, one of the finest.

Intense pine and caramel nose, subtle rosehip note. Cloudy amber, thick head, good lacing. Lemon and pine flavor, whole orange at midpalate, finishes with grapefruit peel and lemongrass. Light body, slightly tangy, considerably bitter. Superb balance and intensity, full of nuance. I could totally rate this higher, but I feel like I’m getting carried away. I wish I could get this more often.

On tap at republic in uptown Minneapolis. Aroma is pine, citrus, grapefruit, and lemon. Taste is pine, citrus, orange, lemon, and a balanced malt flavor. Very balanced pale!! Love this stuff!

An excellent hop session that gives me exactly what I want. A pungent, dank, weedy aroma, with grapefruit, clementine and citrus, with bitter edges of pine, garlic, and the mildest vanilla creaminess. Bold and frontal; washing over with weedy wetness.

Floral, grapefruity, herbal flavor, so pungent and damp; malt not very present except in water crackers and a light, backing flavor of wildflower honey that gives it the smallest little snap before the finish. The forwardness of these pot hops is constant.

Palate is crisp; lightly sticky in the middle when the oiliness of the hops meets the honey malt notes, but it lands on an herbal, bone dry bitterness. Sessionable hop fix with zero deficiencies. Combine that with the flavors being totally my particular taste and this nails it.

Tasted on tap at Tracy's in Minneapolis. Bodacious hop and citrus/mango aroma. Nice bitter hop taste & finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle cheers to Ryan. Hazy golden pour with a sticky white head. Nose is very big and grassy! Massive pine needles. Taste shows a heap of grass and pine again while a touch of citric rind comes through. A subtle hint of barnyard notes as well which is appealing. Fantastic
